Awesome hidden gem in New Haven From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smile and was welcomed by Serenity Vincent who assisted me with first floor accommodations, extra towels, and always smiled when I need a late night snack or beverages . I’m staying here from now on when I am in the area.

worst experience Staying at New Haven suite was the worst experience I have had at a hotel. We rented the penthouse with a group of girls (5 ladies per policy no more than 5 people). We were laughing and talking have a good time. When we was asked to leave. I asked why, they reported that we we making too much noise. I remind you, that we were girls laugh and talking. This is so outrageous to me. a guess can not laugh and talk, the whole reason we rent the suite was to be able to enjoy each other company and catch up on old times. If they would of given us a warning, I could understand ( because I know getting a group of ladies to gather we do have a tendency to talk loudly and laugh) but to kick us out. I spoke with the staff they was very rude, I spoke with the manger. He reports he would do a investigation then get back to me. But I still want to make a complaint. The room cost $300 with a $400 deposit. That $700 for less the 4 hours, it seems to meet anything I would of done that night would have cost them to kick me out. Now they reported that they will not give me back my security deposit, they was no damage to the room, we do not smoke,. I paid four hours to stay at the room at least give me back my security deposit. I feel that this happens a lot with guess.

Cozy Home Feeling, reviews are exaggerated I’ll be honest, when me and my mom read the reviews online we were really scared to be here. However, all other hotels were fully booked, so we ended up with no choice but to be here. The moment I stepped into the lobby, it was a whole other story. Unlike what the reviews had said this was a whole different story. We were greeted by Carlos, who helped with our luggage and opened the door for us (and would continue to for many days to open the door when I would inevitably forget my keycard). It was a really cozy “home” feeling. The staff were really friendly (once again especially Carlos), and helpful throughout the entire checking in process, and opening the back door so we wouldn’t have to bear the cold and go the long way. Though, the breakfast lacks in variety, it’s still enjoyable (so maybe thats one of the few points where other reviews are right). The rooms aren’t dirty, more then anything they’re quite again homey and cozy. There’s also a nice kitchen inside all of them: 5/5, don’t trust the reviews. Thank you to Carlos for helping our family with our many demands and problems. Our family enjoyed it much more than any 5 star hotel.

Fleas! Let's start with the positives: the staff are friendly and helpful. Spacious apartments. We ve stayed there about 4 times since 2008. But it has changed. The carpets are smelly. My daughter and I were bitten for 3 days. Finally discovered there are fleas in the room. I videoed them on the bedding. We moved out the next day.
