Great hotel not all staff are friendly Great bedding, towels and rooms. Unfortunately the hot water in the shower took over 20 minutes to get to a comfortable temperature. David the Bellman was wonderful; friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Jocel on the front desk was wonderful too, we were always met with a smile and she was so helpful and happy to talk. Unfortunately the other front desk ladies did not give the same vibe, no smile or help. Do they enjoy their job? The lady who checked us out was unfriendly and showed no concern or gave an apology when we explained about the faulty water system in our room (308). Overall a good stay but an instant hot shower and a few more staff like David and Jocel would have made it an excellent stay.

This is what a great hotel feels like You can sense the culture of a hotel from the way that the staff behave. The staff at the Bourbon are tremendous. Nothing is too much trouble and invariably they spot your needs before you have to ask. The hotel building is gorgeous and it is very handily situated for exploring New Orleans on foot. From its cold water dispensers to its jazz bar, the Bourbon has everything that one could want as a tourist in New Orleans. Yet again, we have Lisa Krueger at Expedia Cruises to thank for another perfect recommendation.

First time ever in New Orleans Came to celebrate my wife's birthday on Friday. Stayed Friday, Saturday, Sunday evenings. Staff very accommodating storing our luggage after check-out so we could further tour city.

Beautiful old hotel Our second stay at this hotel. The rooms are larger than most. Plenty of amenities, including breakfast. Staff was so friendly and helpful.
