Security I stayed at the Holiday Inn Downtown. My stay was very good. The most impressive part was the security guy Mr. Huey. I felt very much at ease knowing he was on duty. He was friendly and very attentive to the needs of the guest. Every hotel needs a Mr. Huey.

Great place to stay! Wonderful establishment with fantastic service and security. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. No free parking but the parking garage was secure. Bedding was soft and cozy. The room was pretty and aesthetically pleasing. I recommend the diner especially for breakfast.

Exceptional As someone who “lives” in hotels about 250 nights annually, and drives rental cars or company vehicles more than I drive my own I RARELY write a review unless something is AWFUL or EXCEPTIONAL. This property absolutely is the later. A coworker of mine had already arrived at the property and asked the security guard (Mr. Huey) where I would need to park a 40 foot long tour bus. By the time I got to the property they were both waiting on me. The next morning while getting some items out of the bus another hotel employee insured that everything was in order and provided some alternative parking for our other vehicle which was a tight fit into the parking deck. I also explained to him that I would renew the parking permit for the bus as soon as we returned to the site from working for the day. **Additional Shout Out to management of Universal Parking they called me and found out that I was a guest of the hotel, I informed them of the same thing regarding the permit renewal and to my surprise I arrived back that afternoon to find a coned perimeter set up around my vehicle.** We usually don’t eat in a hotel bar more than usually once a week however the local themed dishes paired with a great bartender (Amy) had us eating the local fanfare of cuisine nightly. Overall zero complaints friendly staff great conversation, knew our names and absolutely went above and beyond! We rarely have business that necessitates staying in any central city much less New Orleans BUT I know where we will be when we need to.

Best IHG experience over all. I travel weekly with work, and usually stay with an IHG brand. Nice, clean hotel with some pretty cool murals of local history. Parking can be a little tricky, with a truck topper and a show bus, but Officer Huey was a huge help, as well as having some great, friendly conversations. And I also have to mention Amy, one of the best IHG bartenders I've had in awhile. Employees like these are what makes traveling a little more pleasurable. I think they hit a homerun with these two!

Comfy and spacious. No worries Clean and tidy, good size double room with large shower. Big TV, although couldn't get menu up on TV so scrolling was a bit of a pain. Reception staff were friendly, and helpful. Better than double tree Hilton nashville experience. And taxi to and from hotel very good fair price and courteous. Bar staff helpful and accommodating. Good selection af drinks and food. Breakfast coupon was a bit limiting however. As were used to the holiday inn buffet breakfast. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will return..
