Clean, comfortable and safe The very first thing I do when planning a trip is research the hotel options. I'm incredibly picky when it comes to accommodations. It absolutely has to be clean and not smelly. I also want it to be affordable and in a good location. I spent several weeks researching hotels in the French Quarter before making a selection. I went back and forth a few times because I would make a choice, then see not so stellar reviews on that hotel so I'd have to start my search over. I finally decided on Hotel Provincial. Starting off, the front desk staff was fantastic, friendly and helpful! The property was lovely, with several cute courtyards. Our room was private, spacious, very clean and so charming. My husband remarked that it was the most comfortable hotel bed he's ever slept in (and we have traveled a lot!) Our room was the "premium king", it had a separate sitting area, and looked out over Ursualine Ave. The location was amazing, in the Quarter and walking distance to everything. I felt very safe and comfortable the whole time. Directly behind the hotel property and accessible through a backdoor off the hotel's parking lot was a fantastic breakfast restaurant called French Toast. I Highly recommend! The hotel also has on-site valet parking, which we utilized for one night. Overall a fantastic experience to round out an amazing vacation!

Under construction Check on construction status. Until it’s completed I would recommend finding other accommodations . Noise level from the street can only be drowned out by increasing air conditioning fan noise.

Didn’t get to stay I didn’t get to stay but I’m sure it’s an amazing place from the pictures and the staff I did get to talk to on the phone.

Quick NOLA Stay Been to the Provincial many times but this time with the remodeling, it was not as good as usual. We were not informed of the mess and noise ahead of our stay and that was disappointing.

Can’t wait to go back Loved this hotel! It is at the end of French Quarter so it is walking distance to Frenchman street and everything in the French Quarter at the same time. Nice one time option for two for one drink in their bar. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Housekeeping went out of their way to take care of us. The only bad part is there is no elevator. It was only two stories where we stayed and I would 100% stay there again but the steps were steep so I’d be prepared to bring less luggage.
