Anniversary Weekend! Checked in by Asia, who is hands down the best front desk person! We stay in a lot of hotels, and she is the friendliest employee we’ve encountered. Beautiful property, awesome rooms, & centrally located. We will definitely add this Marriott property to our list of go-to’s. Thank you for making our anniversary even better!

Convienant but not great When checking in, there was not enough staff so the wait was 45 minutes. The room had a great view, the beds were very comfortable but on the bed skirt, someone had throw up on and the remains were still on it. In the bathroom, the middle of the floor had ground in dirt and when you looked at the edges, the drain in the middle had disgusting black stuff, lots of stuff like it had never been washed out after a plumbing back up, you could see what it was suppose to look like, the shower had a flap to keep the water in across the threshold but it wasn’t mostly broken snd had sharp corners sticking up. The towels were the worst I have ever experienced. I have had much better at cheap motels. They were hard, scratchy, and not at all comfortably to use. Elevators were modern and worked great. There is a market in the lobby which has food, meds, snd most things you might need which was handy. There was a Starbucks kiosk there but never anyone maiming the store. The restaurant also very understaffed which made for longer delays to get food snd drinks and linger to get a ticket to pay for so do food. The pizza was not even grocery store quality. The valet was had to find help, long wait and no one to assist when putting items in the car daily. Awesome stay! We stopped on our way to Seaside Florida and stayed a night here. All the staff were wonderful. Check in was a breeze and there was no wait. The morning we were leaving we tried having brunch at several restaurants without success as all the places had super long wait times, tired and hungry we made it back to the hotel with our 2 little ones in tow. The general manager at JW Marriott made an exception for us and had the chef make us some breakfast which was incredible. Top class customer service. 10/10 would recommend this hotel. Room was super clean, beds very comfortable. Thanks for an awesome stay.

Lovely stay We’d been looking forward to coming back to New Orleans for some time, but the reviews for the JW Marriott New Orleans were quite a mixed bag, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect as far as amenities, possible room upgrade, but most especially customer service. Am happy to say we had no complaints whatsoever. Nina checked us in quickly and efficiently, gave us the lay of the land, informed us that the executive lounge was open for b’fast, and very graciously gave us drinks coupons for the lobby bar as well as giving us a corner room on 23rd floor with a ‘view’ of the Quarter and a sliver of the mighty Mississippi. The city lights were lovely at night. No complaints with the room — it was very clean, and did not smell of mildew, thank you Housekeeping! A big shout out to Alfred who was always very upbeat every time we swung by the lobby in the morning and who always had a smile when helping us with transportation, and to George at the bar who was always quick with a smile and a lot of fun to chat with. They are all an asset to the Marriott family. We had a lovely stay. We love New Orleans and can’t wait to come back.

Superior Customer Service My family and I were returning from our nephew's wedding in GA and decided to spend a few days in NOLA to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Nina, Night Asst Mgr Front Desk, greeted us warmly and answered all questions...a consummate professional. She went above and beyond in providing ideas to tour NOLA; were not disappointed and booked a 3 hr bus tour to learn the city's unique history and splendor! We had two corner King rooms which smelled wonderful and were white glove inspection clean. The hotel is located off Canal St (major road) and Bourbon St is within walking distance (2 city blocks). Restaurants and attractions were just starting to reopen. We had access to the VIP lounge and enjoyed delicious hot breakfasts. Kudos to the chef and all of the lounge staff...your genuine engagement will keep us coming back!
