Anniversary trip We took our first trip to Louisiana and were not disappointed! From the people to the events to the hotel we were met with hospitality that was not expected but very much appreciated!

Not Like I Remember First, it took 3 days to get the sensor on the door for my key card fixed. I kept having to get someone from the front desk to let me in. The hotel was extremely noisy. I’ve stayed there before and I understand the proximity to Bourbon St but this was different. The guests were arguing and partying all night and early in the morning. My shower was moldy. My daughter (in a connecting room) waited over two hours after requesting towels. Only one elevator worked for most of my 5-day trip. The staff were friendly but the quality of the hotel isn’t the same as it was when we stayed there in 2019.

Air Conditioner Does Not Work The air conditioners in the rooms do not work. We moved rooms to a smaller room and did not receive a credit. The second room’s air conditioner did not work either. Very hot rooms and impossible to sleep.

Perfect Stay This is our second time staying at this exact location. Initially the location being walking distance to most everything was ideal, the staff makes the stay even better. The hotel is clean, quiet, and beautiful. The staff were personable and helpful. The night bell capt even remembered my daughter’s name and would follow up on her experiences each evening. We travel pretty often and we have NEVER had service and hospitality like the Omni Royal has. I have recommended this location to friends, family, and even strangers. This is our home away from home.

New Orleans Hotel is center to most places of interest near Jackson Square, French quarter. Personnel 5 stars plus, everyone friendly and helpful. Hotel needs some updating, wallpaper coming off wall, our bathroom very small hit arm on toilet paper every time, carpet old and needs replaced edges rough. We would stay again but recommend some repair and updating.
