Wonderful stay. Great staff That was my first vacation since the pandemic,. Since I couldn’t travel to Europe as planned, I decided to visit NOLA and picked Ritz Carlton in the French Quarter for our 6 nights stay. What a good choice that was! We had a great experience with the hotel. From the time we checked in until checking out all the staff we engaged with were polite and professional. There were some issues with our room, we reported it to the front desk and the evening supervisor, Nick was very kind, understanding and moved us to another room. We love the beautiful courtyard outside the lobby for afternoon tea and cocktails at night where we enjoyed the fresh air. However, the staff is what really made our stay memorable. I don’t remember everyone name but I must mention Nick, the evening supervisor/ manager, Iris and Thomas, front desk and Kevin ( concierge)

Amazing service, opulent surroundings The beauty of this hotel is only outpaced by the demeanor of the staff. Despite the unseasonably hot weather in August of 2021, the door person, the desk staff and all others were smiling and friendly to me as if it were a casual 60 degree day. The room was immaculate. The marble in the bathroom looked brand new. I am beside myself with this experience. Awesome!

Beware of WIFI charges I enjoyed my stay at the Ritz in New Orleans. The hotel and rooms are nice, and I felt the service was good. There are no amenities of other nearby hotels like free breakfast or a pool. The worst thing, though, is that for over a month since my stay, I have been trying to get the two nights of WiFi I was charged for refunded to my credit card. I still have only received credit for one night. So when they tell you at the desk to accept the charges and those will be removed from your bill before checkout, NOPE. Don’t do it. Do not use the WiFi unless you want 6 weeks of hassle. There are a ton of nice hotels in New Orleans. I’m not sure this one is worth the trouble.

Spring in New Orleans My husband and I stayed over a week in April. We were driving back to Boston from wintering in Florida. Vaccinated and excited to be in a newly opened city. The concierge Karen Ford was so remarkable. She called to confirm everything was open and truly ready to accomadate her guests. Restaurant choices were spot on and she secured hard to find live music tickets. She even checked in with us on her day off ,to be sure we were content. She and the staff made our experince truly memorable!

Better Than Expected Made reservations using the hotel website. Requested a double bed, high floor with city view. Check in was prompt and friendly. Early check in as requested. Room was very clean and smelled fresh. Asked for additional towels which were delivery quickly. Maid service everyday. Worth every dime. Great experience. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
