Just OK this time… This is usually our favorite place to stay in NYC. Great location. Rooms always clean and comfortable. Front desk staff always friendly & helpful. This trip, however, we were disappointed in the rest of their services. We had two burned out light bulbs when we checked into the room. No biggie. Called front desk and asked for new bulbs. 3 hours later, still no bulbs. Room was pretty dark. We were allotted 3 free items from the “pantry” each day, but it was scarcely stocked the entire week. We stayed 4 nights and weren’t acknowledged by a doorman until we were hopping into the cab AFTER check- out. He never offered to hail the cab, ignored us until the cab arrived, then just tried to put my suitcase in the car (attempted to take it out of my hand as I was putting it into the trunk myself). If you want a tip, don’t wait until I’m leaving then pretend you’re helping. As I said, this is usually our go-to place for NYC. We’ll still be back, but we’re hoping the service is also back to what is used to be.

Great location and staff I am a repeat customer as I enjoy the location and the staff provide a positive and professional experience. The hotel's location is quieter than hotels near Time Square, etc. The staff are professional and so helpful. Ralph Godoy helped me during my last visit and provided excellent customer service, which is what will keep me returning as a customer for my future visits.

Disappointing AVOID!!! It done the done job for 5 nights lack of pillows Then very Disappointed with the daily charge per night which includes 10 dollars spend at the hotel which they don’t tell you on arrival. Very disappointed

Amazing Enjoyed our stay at the Shelburne from The moment we entered we were greeted by the nicest man Louis who made us feel so welcome the hotel room was so spacious and we were close to grand central.We didn’t spend much time on the room as we were out exploring NYC. I would definitely return to this hotel. Jean,David and I’m sure the other guys name was frank at the door such lovely men. Thank you

2 Bed Studio Apartment is terrific I’ve stayed at the Shelburne many times since 2020 - wonderful friendly service - Jean at the front door has been with the hotel 23 years - amazing - stayed 3 nights in the 2 queen bed studio apartment with 3 adult females - no view but didn’t care - the living area is large and comfortable - sofa bed, coffee table, chair, ottoman, dresser and desk - kitchenette with fridge plus ice (!) and microwave - small bathroom and decent sized bedroom with door - 2 TVs - it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay - made hanging out in the room nice
