cozy pretty, clean !! Love this hotel, small and cozy and pretty.
the front desk is very helpful and polite. they gave us senior discount and we travelled from Canada.
its served the purpose well, the United Palace theatre is just 10 min walking distance.
The only issue is the water leaks from the shower stall when we shower.. for (queen bed suite ) the reason is its narrow, which is understood for small suite.
I would give 5 stars in spite of it. The hotel staff comes and cleans it right away, as we did not expect it.
they were willing to provide the needed things.
Book it with confidence.
So, pretty, and clean.
Trust there are no MICE, because in the street outside there are plenty, looks like they keep it out of mice.

The most accommodating stay with a last minute reservation The staff at Edge Hotel was the most helpful and supportive I have met. Luis secured a reservation for me just a few days before arrival and Dominic helped with maps, lists of restaurants, places of interest which made navigating the immediate area for the first time effortless. 5+++ stars for everyone’s assistance and superior service!!!!!

Great hotel near NY Presbyterian If you need a place to stay while a family member is cared for by NY Presbyterian, go here. I stayed here while my spouse had major surgery at the hospital & it had everything I needed.
The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from the hospital, right down 168th Street. The rooms are compact, but clean and very comfortable. The bathrooms are nice.
Best of all, the staff is amazing. So helpful, they seemed focused on doing what they could to make my stay easier and, dare I say because of the circumstances, enjoyable.
So if you need a place in Washington Heights, this is the one.

Has some good points, but the bathroom is just way too small and has other issues. We chose this hotel because it is just a block and change away from the Columbia-Presbyterian medical complex. If you are going to the hospital or the adjacent medical offices, the location can't be beat. It's on a quiet street, no traffic noise or honking horns at night.
Many NYC hotel rooms are small. I get that. But the bathroom was really, really cramped. There was almost no room to stand in front of the sink. The bathroom had narrow double doors. If you opened one, you had to slither out sideways. If you opened both doors, one of them was spring loaded and banged loudly if you let it go. There was little thought given to places to hang wet towels and washcloths. The one hook that could be used for a big towel was loose and a towel hung on it would block the auxiliary bathroom heater (which didn't work anyway). The shower stall was decently sized, but it had no grab bars at all (not good for a hotel that primarily caters to people coming to a hospital). There were no towel bars inside the shower or on the outside of the glass door. The toilet took a long time to refill and stop after flushing (long enough I lifted the tank cover to make sure the flapper was seated). The toilet tissue holder was loose.
On the good side, the bed and pillows were comfortable. There was barely enough room to walk around the bed, though.
A younger single traveler might not be bothered as much. However, this was not an ideal accommodation for two seniors.

Best customer service experience Best hotel experience ever! Since booking to check out I had a great experience! Initially when I booked I had a question about early check in so I sent an email and had a response in 30 minutes! Upon arrival Dominic greeted us and had the best customer service experience! He provided us with a list of nearby restaurants and answered all our questions! The room was perfect, great city view and just 2 minutes away from the subway station! Definitely coming back!
