Shame breakfast for the price and hidden extra charge. 40$ per day of extra charge per room when you arrive at the desk during the check in, for « services » but you don’t know which service it is.. I took the breakfast included, which is 40$ for 2 people. I was expecting a buffet, like any 4* standing hotel that costs almost than 300$/night. Actually you’re just sent to a Starbucks kind coffee and must buy your breakfast items in a limit of 40$ max. The picture below is what we got for 40$..! Furthermore when we arrived at 9:30 am (breakfast supposed to be available till 1pm), there was a huge line to wait and there was almost nothing left to grab for the breakfast (other picture). To finish, the food was not good! It’s a shame! I can just advise you to avoid this hotel which is a tourist trap, just add 50 more $ per night and move to the Marriott Marquis 3mn away in front of time square. you’ll have better rooms, better location and a real breakfast buffet. Oh also there is not fridge and no drinking water in the room, if you want some, you’ll have to pay extra money.

Great location Awful Rooms I stayed here for my son’s graduation trip, and while the location was excellent, I regret not choosing a local Hilton or Marriott instead. The guest service reps were friendly and welcoming upon check-in, and the lobby area appeared well-maintained. However, our experience with the rooms was disappointing. The first room we were assigned had a musty odor, so the guest service rep kindly moved us to a different room. Unfortunately, the second room, 3504, was even worse. It had a strong mildew smell due to a wet carpet near the window. Though the staff attempted to resolve the issue by shampooing the carpet, the odor only intensified. Despite multiple attempts to address the situation, the manager refunded just $200 off our $1,200 bill, which I felt was inadequate and did not resolve the problem. If you’re considering staying here, I would recommend looking elsewhere until the hotel undergoes a full renovation. The carpets are particularly problematic for anyone with allergies

Nice Stay We had a nice stay! The rooms were very large for NYC, which was nice. In our large group, we did have to have a few AC units, toilets, and doors addressed by maintenance. I wish the rooms had a fridge and/or microwave - that would have significantly improved an already nice experience.

Very old and overpriced hotel Great location but very old and overpriced hotel. Disappointing not having. Breakfast room but being charged for breakfast where it was only a credit to use at a cheap cafe inside the hotel, which does not even have a table. I would not recommend this hotel. For this price you can find much better options around Times Square (btw we had the room overlooking the square-for an extra-and the windows were so dirty that we could not even take a good picture.

Service charges are a rip off Hotel is well located and comfortable bed. On check out I have to pay an additional $120 per room for 3 nights for 3 rooms. A £300 bad ending to an otherwise good stay. A room rate should be a room rate. There should be stealth charges on the room in this way. It makes comparison impossible. I won’t stay on any more IHG hotels again.
