Best value for location & elegance! Single female for a one night stay. Could not have been more pleased with the location, the ambiance and the price! I felt extremely safe & was able to easily walk to Times Square & Central Park. If you are looking for a nice hotel without breaking the bank this is the place!

Unfit Rooms When you walk into a hotel and the smell is overwhelming, the furniture is torn and broken, the light in the bathroom is flickering, and the sink water explodes upon turning it on, not a good sign. Went down to the front desk and they told us it shouldn’t have been offered, it was a bad room. They upgraded us to a jr suite. We went into that room, still smelled moldy, broken furniture and stained couch and mattress. We went to front desk and we asked for a refund. They gave it to us, but it was a poor experience. We were there for a family reunion and had to stay elsewhere. Not recommended.

Will definitely go back Jose Martinez is one of your best employees. He really went above and beyond not only regarding the luggage job but he also took the time to help me out with my phone SIM card. The housekeepers on my floor (7) great too (Margarita and the lady from Poland).

Customer service flunks I had a reservation for 2 nights this week. The person I was visiting was hit by a cyclist and hospitalized. I tried reaching reservations 4x to cancel/rebook. The extension vm told me "you have reached a non- worming extension, goodbye" I called this a.m. and was told the front desk cld not help me either. They said they wld forward the call, and cut me off. Very frustrating, non-customer friendly experience.

Great family hotel The personnel are wonderful. The front desk folks, the bellmen, the bartenders- everyone was very customer oriented. The rooftop bar is lovely. We had the junior suite and the corner suite - both very spacious (I got a great deal on hotels.com) for our family. Everything was clean. Location was right across the street from Lincoln Center and two blocks from Central Park. Room for improvement: the physical plant is showing its age - AC units were old and noisy, mattresses were not so comfy.
