Not at all like the photos! Stayed here for work. It’s in a very dodgy part of town, rooms are very outdated and tired looking, the reception area downstairs was all under construction, lifts were very slow and always queues to use them. Not somewhere I’d choose to stay again!

One to Avoid This ranks as one of the worts experiences I've had ever. Booked the hotel through Budget travel in Ireland as part of a package of flights and hotel. Arrived to find the lobby full of scaffolding and significant renovations going on. Checked in against my better judgement but never made it to the room as fire alarm went off disabling the lifts. Staff actually suggested we walk up the stairs with our luggage. Everything was in disarray. No management to be seen. Fire service had to be called to reinstate lifts. We went for a coffee and booked into another hotel. Went back and checked out. Never went to the room. On applying for a subsequent refund the hotel claimed we stayed 2 nights and only refunded for 2 despite clear evidence including minibar receipts we stayed in the other hotel

Skinny Simple Hotel In Mid Town My room was kind of cramped. Don't bring a lot of baggage. Unless you're up on a high floor, your view will be somewhat obstructed. They served a grab and go breakfast, but I think that was because they were doing renovations. Neighborhood is great! Lots of restaurants and al fresco dining. Walking north to Times Square is easy as is walking south toward Union Square and the West Village. Don't miss relaxing in nearby Madison Square Park and seeing the original Shake Shack. Great subway connections to both JFK and LGA.

Terrible Expierence We were scheduled to stay for four nights, Friday to Tuesday. On our arrival, the reception staff could not locate our booking (3 rooms for 5 people). We were told the hotel was fully booked for the entire weekend. We had two confirmation emails showing that the rooms were booked through the IHG website and cofirmed one month earlier. This was no good apparently, Holiday Inn staff blamed IGH for not sending the reservation to them. Please be aware that IHG on their website have a Reservations Guarentee stating that if your booking was confirmed and their hotel cannot accommodate you then they will find you a similar hotel and book that hotel for you while also refunding the cost of the first night including tax and organising transportation to that hotel. This was NOT offered to us at any stage either by hotel staff or customer relations staff at IGH. We were forced to book a separate hotel at an extra cost of $1500. When I returned home and emailed customer relations, they apologised and offered me one reward points. I have been emailing IGH customer relations for over two weeks now and they will not provide me with the answer as to why I was not offered on the night to have a similar hotel booked for me and refunded with the first nights cost as per their guarentee. TERRIBLE HOTEL AND TERRIBLE IHG CUSTOMER RELATIONS

Excellent hotel location Stay in the center of city, is so exciting things. Parking is the most problem, but staff give us special benefit, park in the front of hotel freely only for a couple hours. Check in at 4am, and leave at 11am. Lobby area too small and too many people in the lobby.
