Great rooms for a great price Watson is an excellent place to stay if you’re visiting NYC. Excellent location. Going to Times Square only takes 5 minutes walking! Breakfast offered by the hotel is just ok but there are plenty of options outside. However, we didn’t feel staff was very friendly to us. Hope they can work on that!

A no-frills gem in the city This reasonably priced hotel was clean and quiet. i did not try the food there (it's New York, dine out!). The staff was courteous and efficient. This might not seem like much but compared to other hotels in NY I visited in 2018 and 2019, I will return to the Watson.

Run Down My sister came to New York with a friend to visit us and stayed at the Watson as it is nearby. It is very conveniently located, but is in urgent need of repair since the toilet did not flush and the electrical socket did not work. Unfortunately it was over the holidays and there were no other available rooms. The staff were as accommodating as could be and offered a full refund.

Great stay We really enjoyed our stay at The Watson. The location was very convenient, subway stations close by and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with maid service everyday. Thoroughly enjoyed drinks at the bar with very pleasant staff. A girl at guest relations was fantastic at sorting out a problem with a taxi service we had used. Would definitely stay again.

YOU ARE NOT SAFE HERE!! IT'S A FACT! Homeless & recently released convicts are being dropped off here by the bus loads!! Its one of many hotels in the area doing this! They hang out outside & harass people. Crime in the area has sky rocketed! DO NOT STAY HERE!!
