Disappointing Disappointing stay, mislead by the photos, room was fine and clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was poor, very basic continental served in a very dim uninviting dining room. Roof top terrace non existent and the outside was covered in scaffolding, empty planters full of cigarette butts and old seating with cigarettes burns. Not a pleasant place to sit and certainly nothing like the photos, the gym was awful, poorly equipped but also dirty, leaving ceiling, buckets on the floor. Had to inform reception about a smoking plug socket on the floor

A.C NOT WORKING OVER PRICED AND Staff UNHELPFUL including manager, ROOM Horrible. Review for Hayden Chelsea NY Stay Dates: 07/16 - 07/18, Room Number: 603 - CONFIRMATION NUMBER: 1918374 I stayed for two days at Hayden Chelsea NY. Initially, I was hesitant due to mixed reviews but decided to give the hotel a chance. Upon arrival, the staff was very uncooperative and unprofessional. Although this was concerning, I chose to overlook it initially. However, upon entering my room, I was met with a smelly and hot environment. I attempted to fix the air conditioner myself, but it didn't work. I called the front desk, and they sent a technician who assured me the room would be fine after some time. Unfortunately, two hours later, the room was still unbearably hot. I called the front desk again to request a room change, but the agent bluntly refused, stating they could only change my room the next day. As I was traveling for work, a good night's sleep was essential, but the bed was horrible, and the room conditions were intolerable. The next morning, I went to the front desk as promised, but they took my cellphone number and name, saying the manager would call me. At 8:30 am, they claimed no room was available. When I returned from work around 5:30 pm, the PM shift worker from the previous day was rude and unprofessional, questioning why I hadn't asked in the morning when i had but the staff refuse to communicate with each other blaming me... and again stating no rooms were available. I was really mad at this mad and i asked for the manager but the manager did even call me after all this and the worker said the manager is off so she will not help me with anything what is the management for then??? I woke up with severe back pain and had to take medication, making my workweek extremely difficult. This stay was the worst hotel experience I've ever had, and I travel frequently for work. I paid $480 per night for this hotel, and the breakfast was also horrible. I advise anyone considering staying here to avoid it at all costs. Rating: 1/10 Pros: None Cons: Management Staff not present during the week..Unhelpful throughout whole stay. Uncooperative and unprofessional staff Smelly and hot room with a non-functional air conditioner Rude front desk agents Uncomfortable bed leading to severe back pain Overpriced with horrible breakfast Overall, my stay was a nightmare, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Above & Beyond! After a slew of unfortunate events that transpired that required senior leadership to step in –– the GM, Anthony Damiano, went out of his way to accommodate me during my stay! I'm very appreciative of the staff there that made my almost month stay there comparable to being in my own home. Thank you to everyone there! CS

GREAT experience at Hotel Hayden. Fantastic location in Chelsea, NYC I loved my experience at Hotel Hayden - and I'm particular - it was everything I needed and the staff were so kind and friendly, and I LOVED the location in Chelsea, in the flower district. Perfect for everything - I walked everywhere but the subway is also right there. Felt very safe (if anyone is concerned about that). I thought of it as more no frills, but I was impressed in a King room with the comfort and support of the bed (slept great), pillows and (importantly) soft sheets. The bathroom had a great-sized vanity and shelving which (for me) means ease with make-up and hair products. I had to do a lot of online work while there - zoom sessions and uploads to Vimeo -- great wifi, good desk, and lighting. Also, the closet has long-hang - can't tell you how many hotels in this price point do not, and seem to only cater to the business-suit traveler. Good coffee/hot water maker in room. Big plus - a mini cooler/fridge for milk/wine or snacks. There is a complimentary breakfast area and a gym. I extended my stay and was very happy and hope to be back soon.

BETTER THAN BEFORE Hey I'm Mac from mack11media digital news hotel reviewer so this hotel __️ had many issues from having a huge 300k water bill to having huge water bugs I stayed here this Sunday June 23 with not 1 complaint the bed was super comfortable clean __ room clean bathroom and all staff was good over all I give it 4 stars they raised there daily prices to comp for that you know enormous Water bill they had
