Good Business Stay at Intercontinental Times Square The stay at the Intercontinental for business over a weekend was very nice. I checked in late and was given a great room facing Times Square but on an upper floor. The rooms above a certain floor have not been refreshed with new carpet, wall paper, etc. The next day I went to the Ambassador desk and Rose was able to immediately change me to another floor, same room, that had been refreshed. She was very accomodating and helpful. Others have complained about the amenity fee but I used it several days at the restaurant for dinner. Alam at The Stinger was great. He waited on me every night and was very attentive. My only complaint is about the pillows in the rooms. They are feathered and not very firm. I asked for firmer pillows which were immediately brought to my room but were just standard size (instead of king) but no firmer.

2 nights of interrupted sleep The smoke detector chirp the first night at 4am. Someone came and “reset” it. Claimed it was “dusty”. It chirp again the 2nd night. I just reset it myself. They should have really fix the problem during the day. Not what’s expected from a hotel at this price point.

Horrible I request microwave and a fridge before my arrival and I did not receive microwave until the second day. We checked in late in the evening 1 st Room was very noisy and we could not sleep, after speaking to a manager they changed my room next evening. 2 nd room was more dirty and felt like housekeeping didn’t clean the rooms. Then I gave up. During my check-out nobody asked how’s the stay, except the bellman. Hopefully he’ll let his manager know.

Time Square Intercontinental The hotel is in a great location for shows, shopping, dining and the subway. The hotel staff, from the front desk, door service, to the lounge/restaurant, were very friendly, professional and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was fresh, clean and very good. I have stayed at several InterContinental's both nationally and internationally and this hotel is a reflection of the high Intercontinental standard. I recommended it and will definitely return.

Do Not Stay Here I had the worse experience at this hotel and do not recommend staying here. The check in experience was horrible, the rooms were dusty and does not look too clean. The rooms look nothing like the photos on their site. We stayed at the Times Square location…once again book elsewhere!
