Marriott Marquis review If you want the true NYC experience with a beautiful/ Central place to stay, this is the hotel you need to be in. Located less than a block from Times Square, and a block away from the subway, all activity centers around this hotel. The only 2 quirks I found with this hotel is, no airport shuttle and it takes an hour plus by train to plane from JFK. All in all, I would stay here every time….hands down!

NO Titanium benefits recognition This hotel does not recognize Marriott Titanium Lounge Access policy. Instead getting away with 1K point as a replacement. complete joke. here is a link ot the Marriott "GUARANTEED LOUNGE ACCESS" benefit which clearly note that $100 compensation per night if no breakfast alternative is provided! btw: this hotel has not dailly room service or cleaning. what's the point of paying top $ when you have Airbnb or SpringHill Suites style service. it was clear that this hotel is using CVOID as an execuse as with many other Marriott to get away with lot of the services which you would expect from Marriott brand. very disappointed.

Great Location In June I took a vacation to New York City with my family for 7 days. There were 4 of us in total. I was so shocked to find out that there wasn’t any housekeeping and breakfast provided during our stay. I had no problem with that given that we were trying to be understanding of the covid situation but we didn’t even have anyone checking in on us to see if we needed towels, toiletries or bags for trash. I had to send my sister to the lobby to ask for a trash bag and they couldn’t find one to give to her. I visited Miami in May and stayed at the “W” and had no issues there. We had housekeeping everyday and restaurant was open. I will say that I loved the location. It was so close to Times Square. We could hang out in Times Square, run up to our room to use the restroom and come back. There was a movie being filmed there which was super cool but the hotel staff was so rude to us when we tried to ask what was going on.

TITANIUM STATUS I just arrive yesterday and with my surprise i discover that The hotel is currently under staffed and overbooked. I didn't get the suite and I did get any breakfast as per my TITANIUM STATUS . staff is not cleaning the rooms. Clients need to ask for cleaning otherwise they do it every 4 day. I had 2 rooms and i am staying over a week with my family. Reception said I received an email stating no room cleaning during entire stay one day prior to my arrival. If I knew this, I would NOT have booked this hotel. The surprising thing is that I called the hotel 1 dsy prior the arrival and they did not mentioned it. Staff is really rude, not polite, and not helpful. To get the line you should wait at least 20 minutes on the line. I recommend not go and not to spend over 1 million points to have such treatment.

Unprecedented Customer Service for a Large City Hotel Customer service is stellar. My husband and I live overseas and need a one night hotel in NYC on either end of our trips back to the US. We used to stay at the Hilton but I am now totally converted to the Marriott Marquis. The moment we drove up to the hotel and were greeted by the parking security guard we were welcomed with genuine care and service. Every person we encountered during both stays was friendly, curious, and ready to help. Particularly the gentleman who accepted our bags for holding after check out. At the Hilton they charge something like $10/bag for this service and I was much more pleased to offer a gratuity to the kindest man than to pay $10/bag for a few hours until our flight. I am truly appreciative of the customer service, which is to be expected at the high end resorts of the world but was unexpected at a gigantic Marriott in the world's busiest city. Also, we had a great view of Times Square, the bathrooms are modern, and the bed is very comfortable.
