Excellent value for the money Spent 5 nights here recently for my first trip since the pandemic started, and overall had a good experience with a few caveats. The good: -The hotel has an absolutely perfect location near a murderers' row of great restaurants at a remarkably reasonable price. -The rooms are attractive and comfortable, and well-organized in a way to maximize the space. -Staff were very helpful and accommodating, fulfilling requests for towels etc quickly; when I first checked in my air conditioning didn't work, and a staff member was sent to fix it within the hour and had it resolved within two. The caveats: -Rooms are pretty small, which is to be expected for the location and price, but still worth noting. No seating outside of the bed except for a single chair tucked into a corner. -As a consequence of the space issue, not much in the way of storage. There's no dresser (the bed frame has drawers built in instead), and limited sink space for toiletries (no drawers in the sink area unfortunately). -Fairly noisy outside, which is understandable, but definitely don't expect anything in the way of soundproofing. -Outlets are awkwardly positioned - I had to crawl under the desk to plug in my phone, and there are no USB charging options. -Wifi was free/included but at times it was slow or had no service entirely. The bad: -This may be more about the neighborhood than the hotel itself, I can't say for sure, but I found that water came out of the tap cloudy at times. I ended up buying bottled water to keep in the mini fridge instead of drinking it. -I honestly don't say this to be a scold, but the hallway stank horribly of weed pretty much 24/7, often strongly enough that I could smell it in my room near the doorway. Obviously no objection to people smoking it, but I have some ventilation concerns if I could smell it *that* much. Overall verdict: it was a very solid place for a medium-sized stay without breaking the bank, and would be ideal for a solo person or couple spending most of their day exploring the city. Not a luxury kind of experience but that can be okay sometimes.

Hidden Gem My husband & I recently spent 3 nights at the Nolitan & loved it. The Front Desk staff was very friendly & helpful. We had a king bedded City View room, and it was spacious & very comfortable (it even had a ceiling fan). With COVID protocols in place we didn’t have daily housekeeping, but the front desk was very quick to respond to our request for additional soap (they even included fresh towels). It’s a great location with plenty of restaurants, subway stations and shops nearby. Overall we had a wonderful stay, and I’d highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing experience My fiance and I recently stayed at The Nolitan. Antonette helped us with the reservation. It was a short 1 nice mini vacation for us in the city. It was much needed escape, since we havent been able to do much since COVID started. The service that Antonette provided was spectacular. Ahe even went above and beyond and set up a small surprise for us, which really made the stay even more special! The hotel is centrally placed to everything that we wanted to visit: Brooklyn bridge, china town, and some local restaurants and bars (even a late night pizza spot on the corner for a quick bite after going out). There was plenty to do around the hotel! This was my first true outing in the city and I would for sure go back, and when I do I will stay at the Nolitan again!

Wonderful stay at this hotel! My fiancé and I decided to spend a night in the city and Toni made our reservation. The view from our floor was stunning. Toni also had the room set up for us with a nice bottle of champagne to celebrate our recent engagement. It was so incredibly sweet! The staff was very welcoming and the hotel itself was very clean. I know how important it is to feel safe during these times - and the Nolitan delivered. We walked around and stopped at a few bars for some cocktails in the evening. We made reservations at Sestina which is an all vegan Italian restaurant and absolutely delicious! There were a lot of restaurants that had set up dining outdoors for patrons to feel more comfortable. We were also able to walk to the Brooklyn bridge from the hotel. We explored China town and canal street. The hotel is in such a prime location with soo many options on what to do. Highly recommend it for anyone considering a weekend in LES!
