Lovely Hotel My Mum and I went for our first trip to NY and stayed at the Towers of the Waldorf Astoria, and had a lovely stay. We had an amazing corner room that had a view of the Empire State building. The staff were friendly and it was nice to have a separate entrance for those who stayed in the towers.

New York Level 30 in the Waldorf Astoria Towers for my birthday celebrations. Check in was amazingly effortless and the staff were just so pleasant, our room was superb and a total memorable experience. The breakfast on level 26 had the most fabulous views and lovely food to start of each day. Look forward to returning in a few years once the renovations have been completed. Thank you Waldorf Astoria for the wonderful memories, service and experience.

grand old hotel- but renovations needed stayed at the Waldorf Towers after a couple of nights at The Waldorf. we had a huge 2 bedroom suite with extra dining/ lounge and 2 bathrooms and fitting rooms. while the rooms were very dated they were comfortable and clean. Windows were tto be opened and it was one of the best beds on our trip. Room service was expensive. everything was expensive. Am sure the rooms / hotel was stunning about 40 years ago, but of course it is outdated now and closing for renovation soon anyway. One huge disappointment was the concierge lounge. Tiny to say the least Breakfast continental and they were constantly running out of juice and bread. Felt more like breakfast in a train or train station. 5 star Waldorf concierce it was not. Even the staff was grumpy. whilst check in staff was fabulous

High Standards to the End My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Waldorf Towers on the weekend before the hotel closed for refurbishment. We were assigned to our favorite suite. We also had a tour of the Waldorf public and back of the house areas given by Joan who has a NY Historical Society docent background. Katarina Von Merey a manager in the hotel's stewarding department was very welcoming. We wish everyone at the Waldorf good luck in their future endeavors and hope the renovation will be conducted with respect to the Waldorf 's history and in as short a time as possible.

Very pleasant experience My wife and I stayed at the NYC Waldorf Astoria for one night, on the next-to-last night before it closed for renovations on March 1, 2017. Wayne, the gentleman at the front desk who registered us for our stay was the epitome of excellent, courteous and professional customer service. His presence at the hotel reflects well on the registration department and the hotel as a whole. Our waiter that night in the steak Bull and Bear steak house similarly provided excellent, courteous and professional customer service (unfortunately, I did not record his name).
