Outstanding experience - lodging, food and events We stayed several nights and hosted events for my daughter's wedding here. The staff is exceptionally helpful and accommodating. We loved the spacious rooms; it feels like you have a condo to yourself, with all the services of a hotel. Our families and friends gathered in the tavern for a welcome party and day-after breakfast. It's a perfect, relaxed atmosphere and the food was delicious. Justin took such good care of us and all our guests! We could not have had a better experience! Being able to have pets is a huge plus, too.

Lovely Summer Visit to the Lake Sunapee Area We had a wonderful four-day getaway to the Lake Sunapee region. The Mountain Edge Resort is comfortable, spacious, and conveniently located in this scenic area. It is nestled at the base of Mount Sunapee and is just a short distance from the NH State beach, which is spacious, clean, and family-friendly. There are lots of cute towns and harbors nearby, including Sunapee Harbor, Newbury, and New London - each one is more charming than the others. One highlight of the trip was a lovely sunset dinner cruise on the MV Kearsage. Another highlight was simply relaxing by the pools and the hot tub at the Mountain Edge Resort. Everything was impeccably maintained and the staff was so welcoming. We will definitely return to this all season resort soon. Hopefully, our next trip here will be for some winter skiing fun!

July 4th holiday weekend Just back from a 4 night stay at my favorite Sunapee resort. Though the weather was unusually cold and wet the friendliness, warmth, comfort, and convenience of having a fairly well equipped 1 bedroom plus den unit that sleeps 6 at lake Sunapee makes it a breeze to get on the lake with the boat and play during the day and watch the fireworks at night, and come back to a comfortable place to chill with family and friends for the night. If only Mountain Edge Resort had a dock on the lake for guest use. (Hint, Hint, Suggestion, Wish List, Dream) I am pleased to report our guests found the big bed in the den quite comfortable and a huge improvement over the original sofa bed that the den room was furnished with. It would be a nice improvement if a door could be added to the den room for some privacy, but I suspect a building or fire code prohibits it. For the first time in years we also had a guest sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room and am happy to report she told me the mattress was comfortable. The resort owner Tom, and all staff I encountered were pleasant, smiling and accommodating with extra towels, and even an extra large pot from the restaurant kitchen for large meal I prepared, not to mention the complementary late check out! If your considering staying here at Mountain Edge, go ahead and book it. I am confident you will be happy. I have been coming back since the resort first opened about 15 years ago and offered a timeshare opportunity in addition to traditional hotel stays.

Wedding weekend! Our wedding was at Mount Sunapee Resort, but we stayed at the Mountain Edge Resort & Spa for 2 nights. Justin and the rest of the staff were so friendly and helpful from the moment we started planning our stay to the morning we checked out. They very willingly handed out our welcome bags to guests as they checked in. The resort also offers a bonfire in the woods, which we had the night before the wedding. The bonfire space was like a fairytale -- tiki torches lining the walkway, string lights, picnic tables/benches, and they even provided marshmallows and roasting sticks. Our guests loved it! We even had our afterparty in the tavern, which was the perfect way to continue the celebration with our guests in one space! We (and our guests) loved the modern rustic vibe of the resort and the rooms. The rooms were clean and spacious -- perfect for our bridal party to get ready or for groups of friends/family to share and hang out in. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we highly recommend the resort to anyone!

Great location! Great rooms with nice fireplace. It's close to the lake, ski slopes, and hiking trails. The sofa wasn't comfortable. That is my only complaint. The beds were very nice and comfy. Great water pressure. I'd stay there again.
