Family Wedding We were very satisfied with the front desk service, valet parking, bar & restaurant service, food quality, room cleanliness, fitness gym and swimming pool. The location was very convenient to the various wedding venues we used in Newport. There were times when the shower water was on the cool side. I would like to recommend you consider installing grab bars for getting in and out of the shower/tub.

Quick Holiday getaway Great anniversary getaway to Newport and The Hotel Viking! Wonderful stay with extremely helpful staff. Be sure to ask for Hyechong when dining at hotel, she made our day with her warmth and friendly manner! The valet staff is always ready to help making it a wonderful trip!

Best service for as long as I can remember! I went for afternoon tea with family and friends. Angela provided the best service I have had in a long time. She was extremely knowledgable about the specific teas, and was able to answer all of our questions. She was attentive, without being intrusive, and her service made the experience. Thank you, Angela!

Amazing Staff. Desperately needs update The staff is quite courteous and knowledgeable. The building, however, is in need of updates. Ice cold shower every morning. Every time I flushed the toilet, I literally had to lift the lid and fix it myself to make it stop “running“

Great stay as a third time return customer. Wonderful option for families during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend We had a great visit at the Viking Hotel for the Thanksgiving holiday! The staff is very helpful and friendly and the pool accommodations are wonderful. Our family of four stayed comfortably in the two bedroom option. The hotel restaurant was a highlight of our stay! It is onsite which is very convenient and our meals and the kids menu were great! Our waitress, Angela, made our meal particularly special with easy conversation and a welcoming spirit!
