amazing views We were gifted a room here, so I can't comment on value. Check-in was busy but they were efficient. Our room was incredible! We were the very corner room with a perfect view of Horseshoe Falls. It was spectacular! The only downer is we couldn't see the fireworks at all, as they are over the other falls. Breakfast was insanely busy, but they had an efficient system and things moved surprisingly quickly! They have a small army of omelet makers. The only negative is all their meat options were pork-based, which isn't very inclusive to a large portion of their clientele. I really appreciated that if you missed happy hour, you could still bring your drink ticket upstairs for an evening drink. We parked at the casino a few blocks away because it was cheaper. The pool was fine- fairly small, but the kids enjoyed it!

Average Stay with Disappointing Room Location Issue I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview with my wife and 2 children (1 & 3) for a little staycation to see the Falls and fireworks. I am a Hilton Diamond Member and used a free night certificate to book a basic room with the hopes of being upgraded to a better Fallsview room (since I'm a diamond member and usually get upgraded). I did mobile check in and selected room 3719. The app map showed it was Falls facing but the furthest corner from the Falls, so it wasn't a great view but still enough of a view. When I arrived at the hotel I went to the elite check in line and checked in, they confirmed I was in 3719. I did my standard ask to see if any upgrades were available for diamond members. The host was nice but said they are one of the few hotels that don't offer status room upgrades and offered me a prime fallsview room for an additional $400, to which I politely declined thinking that I at least had somewhat of a view. However, when I got to my room I was actually on the backside of the hotel and not in the location it showed on my app map, with no view whatsoever. I compared the map on the back of the door to the map on my phone app and they were indeed different maps. My family was very disappointed that they were not able to see the fireworks as this was one of the main reasons for our stay. The fireworks start at 10pm and we planned to watch them from bed as this is already way past the kids’ bedtime. Other than that, the hotel was good but in a great location for the falls, restaurants, and attractions. Breakfast was as you would expect from an ES, and the extra perk of the Diamond Member Pass to skip the line was a life saver as there are A LOT of people there for the free breakfast. Onsite parking was expensive but they gave multiple options (onsite and offsite which is a shuttle ride away) to help with every budget level and the staff was all very nice. Again my only complaints are with the room and that they 1- don't do any Diamond upgrades, even though options were available and 2- the app map was inaccurate and the actual layout was completely different. I thought I was getting at least somewhat of a view, but in fact received the worst view in the building. I am a loyal Hilton diamond member and would stay here again, I just would know going into it that they don't do upgrades! I also hope that they fix the map errors to help people on future stays.

Full of scam staff The staff is a fraud. The front desk guy Matt tried to do fraud with me. I paid to Expedia and the total was 365$ cad. He told me at the counter it is 370 plus tax. I told him no that’s not the case. He said no I am telling you it’s 370 plus tax. He said if you have doubt call Expedia but it’s 370 plus tax. He said hurry up, other people are waiting in queue. I went on the side, I called Expedia and they confirmed it by email that it’s 365 Inc tax. I showed him the email, then he said sorry I got the mistake. His fraud didn’t go through. Lot of people do not give a thought about the charges because they are in vacation mode and trust these people. I don’t know to how many people he did the fraud. And after he told me that the upgrade is 100$ for the Fallsview room. I agreed and signed. He later changes my $100 to $150 upgrade fee without my consent. It looks like he forged the paper and changed it to 150. The manager Joselyn said she can’t do anything. I am so upset that even in Canada these types of fraud are happening in this daylight. People please stay away from this hotel because they are doing fraud to innocent people and the management is not doing anything to ask their staff like MATT guy on front desk.

Convenient location but experience could be much better It’s hard to know how much of what we experienced is unique to the hotel or just a result of being in Niagara Falls. The embassy suites is a great location overlooking the Canadian Falls. It’s a very short walk to the incline railway which takes you down to the behind the falls experience. The boats to see the Canadian falls are about a 20 minute walk away. There are several restaurants within walking distance. The parking guys were all very nice and explained our options clearly. However, after we had decided to do on site parking ourselves for $70, when I drove up to the main area, I was told by a different valet attendant my SUV was too tall and my only options were to park offsite or do valet. We have a regular SUV and the clearance is 6’2”so this seemed like a scam. We had a partial falls view room. When we checked in, the woman at the front desk told us we could upgrade to the full Fallsview room, which is normally $1400 “but for you only $300 more and there is only one left.” While her statement might have been true, it seemed very doubtful, like she was trying to con us, so we declined. The room itself did have a great view as advertised. The fireworks at night were not visible from the room. It was clean but the living room area and bathroom were dated. The hotel was very busy and the elevators were often packed. They clearly need more elevators. We have stayed in larger hotels which have many more elevators so they seem much less crowded The waits were variable. The staff were courteous and helpful. Overall, the hotel served its purpose but left us with a bad taste in our mouths.

Seen the falls, now on to somewhere else !!! Note that this review is based on my taste. Not my kind of stay for family vacation! This hotel is nice, clean and situated close enough to the falls but from my point of view it is way to big to have a fun time ! Niagara as become, over the years, a mini Las Vegas (not my kind of city) ... if this is your fun factor well, go for it ! 1 down side that made me evaluate this hotel as average was the fact that 42 floors of people (had to be served within 7am and 9:30am) is way to big to handle good services when it comes to serving breakfast ... long lineups to get to the breakfast (buffet room) and crazy busy counters that made it feel like a zoo !!! Not a good breakfast experience .
