A beautiful stay! Hello! I wanted to write a review because, as like many on this page/TripAdvisor, I was initially very worried about staying at this hotel. I think the reviews and posts (mostly negative) really got to a few people and I was definitely considering cancelling/changing my holiday. I am so glad I didn’t. Myself and my partner have stayed for 10 days (just sat waiting for our transfer in the beautiful reception area now), and have absolutely loved our stay. I think my main concerns were: The room The wasps The lifts The smell But I didn’t need to be so worried in the end: The room was lovely- we were on the 7th floor, double room with limited sea view. It was clean, had everything we needed and was serviced every day with fresh towels and drink refills. I would say the floor could’ve been renovated/updated, it was like a concrete type material so you could see mud/footprints very easily when we first checked in. Obviously this wasn’t a massive issue as we didn’t often stare at the floor. The shower did sometimes overspill past the glass partition, but not to the extent that it was a major problem, it never soaked through the bath mat for example. The air conditioning was great after a long day in the heat. The wasps were there yes, as were the ants, but if you ignored them it was fine. We bought some drinks covers before we flew out which quickly solved the issue of the insects getting in our drinks. We also had insect repellent. It was nothing to the scale that I was concerned about before coming. The lifts, myself and my partner agreed, were the only slightly annoying thing about our stay. One would often break, which meant everyone was sharing one up and down to the beach and various floors. You could be waiting a little while (the most we waited was around 5 minutes), but we had nowhere urgent to be so brushed it off quickly. The smell was my biggest worry before coming to this hotel. I genuinely had considered changing our whole stay because of the amount of people saying how horrendous this was. Being absolutely truthful, we have smelt it twice. Once on the first night, near the pool bar, it’s similar to cabbage maybe? Absolutely nothing that would send me back inside or make me feel ill, it lasted about 10 seconds. The next time we smelt it was the same place and again, absolutely nothing I needed to be changing my whole stay over. The toilets near the pool also were no where near as bad as expected. Overall, we had such a lovely holiday. The heat is no joke, we were dipping in and out of the sea/pool/outdoor showers (which also did not smell at all!) which quickly cooled us down. Just to mention- the sea/beach is very rocky, we didn’t take beach shoes but would recommend as it can be slippy/hot. You had to wait a little while in the queue for drinks- but a few times, staff would come round the sun beds and take drinks orders which was lovely. Unfortunately, like many other hotels I have visited, people are up in the early hours to get their towels down on beds. And if you’re not down before I’d say, 10:30am, you cannot have a spot round the pool or on the grass, meaning you have to spend the €5 to lay on the beach. This was not a problem every day but it’s worth mentioning. Food and drinks were great, drinks are very strong but lovely- special mention for the Aperols & Mojitos. The buffet had a good selection, we haven’t been bored of the food at all and the Italian restaurant was amazing (we even watched dolphins diving in and out of the sea as we ate!). Please make sure you book into the restaurants when you get here as they do get booked up fast. You can book on the machine near reception or on the Atlantica app- it wouldn’t let me book until the next morning- I think this was just due to us arriving later at night and the system not recognising our name/room number yet. The snack bar near the pool was also good if we wanted to stay down there. We highly recommend George’s Boat which you can book from reception, or his Facebook page. Zooming across the sea to Corfu town whilst blasting ABBA was certainly a highlight of the trip. We got the free bus into town too, which took about 30 minutes, but was worth it. We also did the Sunset Catamaran Cruise, which was absolutely beautiful and so worth the money. I don’t want to take away from the people who have not had a great experience, I appreciate that some have not experienced what we have. I just wanted to reassure people who may have been feeling like me- please don’t be worried if you have booked this hotel. We truly have had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.

Amazing views...Happy with the price we paid. A few photos from our recent holiday. We were very worried after booking based on the TripAdvisor reviews but there was no need to worry. For the price we paid we were very happy. We loved the location right on the beach. Room Our room for 3 adults was cosy but functional, it was cleaned daily and fridge restocked. Bed was really comfortable and the air con worked well. We were on the 4th floor. Also the room was quiet at night. Food The food was delicious every day and we enjoyed the ala carte restaurants for a change to be waited on. The gala night was lovely and we noticed a wider variety of food on that particular night. We were always offered a drink when we sat down. Never had to wait for long. Lots of staff walking around clearing plates. No issue with lack of cutlery. Drinks Wine, beer and prosecco were nice. Aperol was our favourite. Some of the cocktails were a little sweet. Snack bar Used it daily for a few slices of cake and the odd roll. Entertainment Some evenings were better than others. We enjoyed the live band, Greek night acrobat show and tenors. Pools Sunbeds were reserved really early so we sat on the grass area....this area could be improved with some matting. We found the pool surround to be very sharp in places for example you can't sit and dangle your feet as it was very uncomfortable. The quiet pool is gorgeous but we preferred the beach/sea. Bring beach shoes. Walk/Hike We walked both ways along the Corfu trail. Sturdy shoes needed. Lovely views and a few tavernas either way. Corfu town We took the hotel coach to Corfu Town. Really enjoyable morning looking in the local shops. Nice to wander and have a drink, bite to eat. Boat hire This was my best day. Organised at reception. €100 for a full day. Comprehensive instructions given by the guys on the beach. So many gorgeous bays to stop including the blue caves. Kassiopi was our favourite. €35 petrol charge. Transfer We booked a private transfer €65 with mycorfu transfers highly recommended as we got there way before the coach in time for lunch and had a leisurely breakfast before leaving. The lack of waiter service didn't bother us and we never queued for longer than 5 or so mins. All the staff worked very hard and sometimes seemed over stretched. Lifts were often busy so we opted for the stairs. The smell that is often talked about......we didnt noticed it during the day but sitting at the pool bar at night it wasn't very nice so we opted for the lobby bar which wasn't a problem. Overall it was a fantastic holiday. Please do not worry if you are yet to arrive.

Nissaki Beach Hotel- july to august. Pros: insane views, lovely staff, had a slight issue with my room but was dealt with promptly, the best food i’ve had at an all inclusive and i’m veggie. Cons: very strong drinks, air con not very powerful, entertainment not the best. Would definitely return. Such a chill vibe.

Not the best, but certainly not the worst. 3/5 We have just spent a week at the Atlantica Nissaki Beach and overall had a lovely time. I will review fairly becomes there are a lot of redeeming features, but also some not so redeeming that I think are worth sharing: 1. Staff. They are so friendly and they cannot be faulted. They work hard to keep the place looking nice and looking after guests - 5/5 2. Views. These are the best that I have ever encountered at any resort, ever. Simply stunning - 5/5 3. Food. The food was fresh and tasty. A decent selection was provided to cater for all tastes. We experienced both of the other restaurants on site, the Mediterranean and Italian and the food was nice but nothing to write home about. The drinks service for both here and the buffet was a little slow - 4/5 4. Lifts. The lifts were a constant pain throughout the holiday with one not working. Given the size of the hotel they were not large enough (4 persons each) and there were not enough (2, with one not operational). 1/5 5. Rooms. The rooms were clean and large enough for 2 people (but not really for 3 and luggage) and the mini bar was stocked daily ensuring that there was a Pepsi max, standard Pepsi, Lemonade, Fizzy orange, 2 x 330ml beers and 2 x 2l bottles of water in there. The shower of the rooms we had were continuously leaking out into the toilet area and although the maintenance guys siliconed them they still leaked. I get the feeling that this is a constant issue here as the staff knew exactly what was wrong with little information being given to them. This was a real issue for us. The air con was very ineffective and I guess quite old which is why it wasn’t cool and made it quite uncomfortable to sleep. The view from the room was great however and the beds very comfortable although the mattress was quite stained under the fitted sheet in our room. 3/5 6. Outside areas. These are nice and there is a lovely undercover area where I spent most of my time. Here there were very comfortable chairs and tables to relax. However, at about midday the music started blasting in this area (I guess so the sunbeds around the pool can hear it). It was exceptionally loud and I wondered if it may have made sense to maybe have speakers closer to the pool. This area was also next to the bar which was handy! Bar outside - The bar in the outside area had quite long queues on and off and loads of wasps and ants in the area (I suppose this is standard given the sweet drinks etc being served). I did feel for the staff working here. There is a decent selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available. Waiter service? - In another review I saw that there was a waiter service around the pool and outside seating area. During my week here, I was never offered any drinks so not sure if this is part of the deal or not. Sunbeds - this was ridiculous. By 7.30am, if you want to get a sunbed to site on, you’ve got no chance. It was crazy. Probably 50-75 sunbeds around the pool all with towels on and absolutely no one there. This needs sorting asap. In addition, if you want to sit on the beach, you’ll have to pay €5 for the privilege. IMO this should be included in the all inclusive price (it wasn’t a cheap holiday). Smell - there is a frequent smell of sewage every now and then which is not very nice. This has been mentioned in other reviews I noticed. It really isn’t very pleasant. Grounds - the grounds are well maintained and there are lots of nice plants and trees in the area. The staff do work hard here - 3/5 7. Transfer. The transfer from the airport to the resort took 1.5hrs along mountainous roads. The air con in the coach was also not working properly so it was a hot journey - 2/5 8. Bus to Corfu town. There is a free coach service to Corfu Town which is really handy. It leaves and 9.30am and collects at the same place in Corfu town at 2.00pm which we found was the perfect amount of time to take a look around grab some lunch and get back. It was a long journey (1.5hrs), but it was a complimentary service so can’t really complain - 4/5 9. Inside lobby, reception and bar. These areas are lovely and very well maintained. There is a bar here that was never busy and again, had a good selection of drinks. There was a library area which was nice and had a TV on in there showing the Olympics on BBC (although you couldn’t get this channel on the TV in the room which was odd!). The room was hot, so I switched on the AC however this seemed to interfere with the TV reception! - only a very minor issue. 4/5 Overall - overall it was a nice break. We paid around £1100 per person for a week so it’s not the cheapest or most expensive. For my 3/5 I have considered previous places I have stayed and their costs so I can be fair. I think money has been spent on the place relatively recently but the standard of work is not great in some areas (lifts and shower area as a couple of examples).
