Clean but old and cluttered. The pictures of the rooms are deceiving on their website. They’re clean, but it’s mismatched furniture that’s too large for the room, we had no microwave, the AC unit was noisy, the metal frame the mattress was on was exposed and I can’t tell you how many times I hit my foot on it. It was the only place available to get a room otherwise we wouldn’t have stayed there.

Don't stay here. Tried to check in at the time shown in my confirmation email (3pm). Was told I couldn't until 4. The lady from the desk who talked to me was less than pleasant and not helpful. I wish I'd have read other reviews upon booking because I would have picked somewhere else to begin with.

Don't stay for the hot tub...it's broke...again...as always I've stayed at this place several times a year for probably 20 years. It is an old Days Inn and I mean "old." The hotel is ok but old and you get the feeling like it's really dirty behind the scenes. I'm pretty sure the room carpet has never been shampooed in the last 20 or so years. Everything is done on the cheap. The ice machine doesn't work, the hot tub is ALWAYS broken, the TV's are small and the AC is hit or miss. I've stayed there with a portable AC unit in my room a number of times. Breakfast is a bust, but weirdly the coffee is pretty good in the lobby. We continued to stay here because it is cheap and on the way home, but because the hot tub is ALWAYS broke we gave up. That's pretty much why we stayed there all these years...cheap and a hot tub. You can stay a couple miles closer to Brainard at a better hotel for about $15 more.

If check in is at 4p, the room should be ready then, not 45 minutes later.. Check in is 4p. Got to hotel at 4:12p. Room not ready. Don’t have check-in at a time that the room isn’t ready by. Paying for time period of check-in through checkout and not having access to the room is unprofessional, disrespectful and inconsiderate to the customer.

HORRIBLE IN EVERY WAY!!!! This place is NASTY!!!! They currently operate under the name Nisswa Inn and Suites. Cannot get anyone to answer the phone at any time of day for reservation changes. No one at the front desk to check in or out. You have to ring a bell and no one still came out. No hot water for a shower. Not even a drop! Complimentary coffee had stuff floating in it- gross. Very outdated, dirty and absolutely no service. Spend the extra money and stay at a better hotel. I was there for one night for a wedding and was out of my room as fast as possible.
