Gross, good water pressure, might be a sex trafficking hotel. This is a very…interesting hotel. I wouldn’t recommend staying here but we didn’t have a choice (really trust me we didn’t). FIRST IMPRESSION: looks like a s3x ring hotel. There is signs all over the hotel to beware of a s3x offender (posted), and a sign in the elevator (that is located in the most odd spot) for the human s3x trafficking hotline (posted). There are 90 different types of security cameras located all around the hotel (wouldn’t be shocked if they were in the rooms too). AMBIANCE: Reminds me of a crack hotel. Definitely s3x worker vibes, very sketchy. They also advertise as a non smoking hotel but the entire hotel smells like a garage that was cleaned with bleach. ROOM: Our room is kinda up to date. The floors are new grey/brown vinyl floors, the bathroom was very obviously flooded. The walls are fowl. No joke, FOWL. I’m pretty sure there’s a poop stain on the wall (posted) they told us housekeeping would clean before we came (they didn’t and I know they didn’t because we messed up the bed looking for bugs before we got the room). Pros: city water (I think it was super clean), amazing water pressure in the shower. Cons: feels extremely unsafe.

Roach City It was roaches in the room, they lied and said they wouldnt refund me because I used the shower. They are terrible and ghetto as hell . I would never recommend. Someone really needs to call the health department on them because as we were leaving there was roaching on their hallway walls trying to leave with us.

Noisy hallway, breakfast basically non-existent The best part of our visit to Araamda Inn Norcross was having a bed to sleep on. The room was fine for what we needed. Other guests were walking up and down the corridor being loud while we were trying to sleep - not fun! Breakfast in the morning was a joke. I asked the man on reception where it was - he motioned through a door. Lights were off, no chairs or tables were set out. There was a coffee machine in one corner with some tiny donuts coated in icing sugar, wrapped in cling film. I had one sip of the coffee which was very poor and poured the rest out. We took one donut for my 3 year old girl, but this went straight in the bin when I took off the cling film and saw what I thought was something growing on the outside of the donut - don’t know how long they’d been there! Not recommended. Worth paying a bit more for a nicer place and not making the mistake we made.

Incompetent staff Staff failed to take care of my reservation. Failed to access my payment record. Removed all of my belongings from my room. This was a prepaid reservation. After the first night, I came back to my room in the evening and my room was empty of personal belongings. They locked them up in a room and have failed to retrieve them. I have no change of clothes or my prescription medicines. The desk clerks don't know what they are doing. I was told to wait for the next shift to ask about going down the hallway where the previous clerk said they were stored. He's afraid to look for my personal belongings. Incompetent staff led to all this.

Don’t book. Find another hotel We booked the hotel and were immediately sorry when we arrived. It did not look well cared for. The windows were full of moisture - we noticed this before we even entered the hotel. Decided to ask the front desk to see the room first. It smelled like smoke, mold, and really not sure what else???? Stains and dirt on the surfaces and sheets. Bedspreads had “cigarette burns”. It was supposed to be a “smoke free” room! We had to leave our id at the front desk just to check the room. That did not make us feel comfortable. Anyways, we told the clerk we wanted our money back-The hotel was disgusting. She told us to take it up with Expedia. We called Expedia and they called the hotel - who said they required a 24 hr cancellation. Thank goodness Expedia jumped in and rebooked us in a safer place. The reviews are correct. Everything that is negative in the previous reviews are just about bang on. Even down to the bedbug encapsulated mattress covers. We are pretty sure we saw a hooker and that there are folks that live there full time. We felt so uncomfortable there. So uncomfortable.
