Will definitely return. Two night stay for Williams College parents weekend (12 minutes from campus). $175 per night for a king deluxe room (desk table w/chair, lounge chair w/ottoman) a bit high for the HI chain, but it’s expected in the Berkshires. Easy checkin, room was ready at 2:30 when we arrived. Loved the high floor (7th). Excellent stay. Comfortable room was very clean and fresh upon arrival. Plenty of parking. Loved the location as there’s a variety of places to eat within walking distance; including a restaurant with the property. Used the pool, no one but me. Jacuzzi was out of commission and I wasn’t able to use the sauna (didn’t get hot). Nice small gym, didn’t get a chance to use. Microwave and fridge was a nice addition…small TV. Front desk team was excellent. We had an issue with the room key (power outage in the middle of the night). They quickly came up to our room with a master key. Will definitely be back for a return visit…12n check out was a plus.

Typical Holiday Inn We stayed here because we knew what to expect. Check in was painless. We got helped by a very friendly gal at the front desk. She gave us some meal recommendations that were spot-on ! Room was a corner room (which we LOVE) and it was clean. No problems with the room, fridge or bathroom. An uneventful stay, which is a good thing, My only negative? We paid $213 including tax on a Saturday night. I’ve never paid that much for a H9liday Inn room before. Ever !

Overcharging Disaster! We bought our stay through a third party travel site. We arrived and checked in as normal. They told us there would be a $25 dollar charge for incidentals. No problem, that’s normal we thought. Mind you we are budgeting due to the pandemic and job uncertainty. So we moved a specific amount of money into a debit account to be spent for Valentine’s Day. The room was fine, very clean. Within walking distance to many restaurants and stores. There was, however, a sketchy camera looking thing velcroed to the TV pointing to the bed. We thought maybe a sensor for the TV remote? Unplugged it and the remote worked fine our whole stay. We brought it with us at check out and the friendly staff member told us it was in fact a sensor and not a camera but we were the 4 customer to share the concern that day. (Maybe take them out then?!) Now the fun begins. We stop at a couple of shops on the way out of town. At our third stop our debit card is declined. We know that is not possible because we had been sticking to the budget and there should be plenty of money to cover a $5 glass. Check the account and there is not one but two $25 holds and another random charge of $98. Call the hotel, the nice lady says they accidentally charged the card twice and charged the room even though it was prepaid. Ok accidents happen. Check the account again the next day there is a new charge of $123! So instead of a refund we got another nights stay on top of the original mistaken charges. Oh not to mention the bank charges for using the overdrawn account thanks to the Holiday Inn. Beware folks!

Mediocre hotel I agree with some of the other reviewers, not much of a hotel for price. My room was clean but needs some updates. Bathroom could use some work. Also noisy, I can hear my neighbors sniffling! I guess I expected a little more for the price given the time of year and location.

Lock your door! Lock your door! I stayed there earlier this month. On Saturday morning, a maintenance worker walked into our room without knocking at 9am while my girlfriend and I were still in bed. We yelled "hey!" and he left. On Sunday morning, housekeeping opened our door without knocking TWICE (!!!) between 9 and 10 am while my girlfriend and I were still in bed. Yes, twice!! We told the front desk and the woman there apologized. She said the housekeeping issue was her fault since she mistakingly thought we had checked out. She said she'd make sure her manager called us on Monday to apologize and took down my phone number. I never received a phone call. In my entire life, I've had hotel staff try to enter my hotel room without knocking 3 times... and they were all last weekend. Things are tough for hotels during COVID, however that doesn't excuse this sort of behavior.
