Dirty Floors and Pool Front Staying at the Peppertree Inn from July 24 through July 31, 2021. Disappointed to day the least. We booked an ocean front apartment, but what we got was a pool front room, see attached photo. Not a bad room if this is what you expected and paid for. Our cost was nearly $1600 plus 42,000 Wyndham rewards points. We could have gotten much better somewhere else. Also the floors were very dirty. Thank goodness there is a Walmart close by, we bought a Swiffer and after 1 dry cloth and six wet cloths the bottoms of our feet no longer got black when we went barefoot in the unit. See attached photo. These were the cons, now I'll give you the pros. The location is great, it's an ocean front property. It's also close to shopping, dining and the Cherry Grove Pier. But we won't stay here again. We'll find a better deal elsewhere.

Bugs! Bugs all over the kitchen! Nasty. Need I say more!! I took video of the bugs, but could not get it to post on this review. Pro: Location is great. Con: Bugs. Old property. Needs deep cleaning and exterminating.

Needs updated & a good cleaning! On the first day our feet were black from walking on the tile floors. Used paper plate & wrapper found behind nightstand. Window facing ocean has opening in the bottom so you can hear the wind. Water comes in when it rains. We were given a bag of towels the evening before Tropical Storm Elsa arrived so obviously they know the windows leak. Got tired of wringing out towels & got a supply of dry ones. The location is great. Short walk to beach. Pools are nice. Flantasy bar was a lot of fun.

Everything we needed Our 1 bed oceanfront unit had everything we needed for a beach vacation. Arrived after 4pm check-in time to a hot/humid room with a layer of water on floor. Took hours to resolve. Furniture/carpeting old. room smelled musty.

Great location, resort needs updates. Perfect location. Staff was amazing! We had a great trip. Pros: staff, location to amenities, location to beach, pool, tiki bar, unit size Cons: lots of outlets didn’t work, in and out WiFi, almost zero kitchen storage, indoor pool closed since 2019
