Quality Inn North Vernon near Hwy 50

Do not stay at this hotel because they are thieves DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL unless you want to take the chance of getting scammed out of your money. The owner of this hotel basically stole money from me. All was well for our two day stay and we checked out with no problems. I was checking my credit card balance at my bank and saw an unauthorized $20 charge on my credit card from the hotel. I called the hotel and was told they charged me for a towel that was missing after we left. I told them we didn't take their towel there must be some mistake. He said no mistake, the housekeeper said the towel was missing. It was apparent that this person would not see to reason that I have no use for a $2 towel and would have no reason to take one. I think the housekeeper that supplied the room before we got there didn't put all the towels in the room. Also, it was evident that someone entered our room while we were out so maybe that person took a used towel and didn't replace it. I contacted Choice Hotels and told them the story. They contacted the person while I waited on the phone, and they came back and said he told them a towel was missing but they would try to persuade him to refund my $20. I never heard back from this hotel or Choice Hotels. I'm out $20 because this man stole it from me by placing a fraudulent charge on my credit card. You would be wise in not staying at this hotel because they have some sort of scam going on whereby, they steal your money and claim that it was because something was missing from the room. Shameful.

Unreasonable about deposit refund Canceled 24 hours in advance and they would be reasonable enough to refund me and I'm out $123+ for nothing. Well. That's a way to make sure I never stay there

Scary place enter at your own risk The help and management at this hotel are cold and unwelcoming. This is my second and last stay here. The first time was summer of 2023. The stay was underwhelming but ok, until we received a phone call to our room from the manager at 10:30 a.m. on the day of our departure telling us in an unfriendly tone that we must check out by 11:00 a.m. we thought that was odd, but kinda laughed it off. During this stay today, we went to use the fitness equipment at 8:00pm. We were trying to get the treadmill to work when the manager appeared out of nowhere and started yelling at us in a loud and threatening manner, and told us to get out of that room. He said we would have to come back at 6:00 am. We pointed out that the sign said it was open until 10:00 pm, but he ran us out and in his inability to speak English was unable to explain why we had to leave. Other odd things have happened here and I feel that I am being watched continuously, even though we are quiet, senior people…. Won’t be back.

Super-clean, quick service, has a pool Visited in May 2021. Everything was very clean, the managers responded quickly to my requests, and the workout room was nice. The toilet flush power was very much above average, and so was the shower pressure/temperature. It has a pool, which I think is unusual for Quality Inn. FYI, the pool is closed right now due to COVID (but the workout room is open). Wifi password is on the sleeve that your keycard comes in.

Horrible stay! Over priced for nastiness! Was in town to see mother who is very ill, the manager was very rude! The rooms definitely do not look like the pictures. Our room was dirty,had hair in the bathroom floor, half used toilet paper!!!!!
