Great hotel hidden away in Deerfield, IL They do a great job. This is the second time we’ve stayed 5 days in the past year. Lovely suite rooms, spacious and well decorated. Comfy beds & pillows, with curtains that darken the room black. The generous breakfast & evening happy hour are the best. The staff are friendly. The price can’t be beat. Unfortunately, the business park around them is a long time vacant. We wonder if they’ll be able to survive the real estate downturn. Every hotel needs refreshing periodically and we wonder if they’ll do it. Our first floor room was starting to show wear & grow a bit musty, but we’ll come back. We love this hotel.

Second year here… Came for the second time to this hotel. It’s a yearly Women's retreat with people all over Chicago. The staff at the front desk are exceptional. We had a few older women (I’m only 65!_) and they needed close rooms to all the events. The manager of the front desk jumped in to help and accommodate the women. I wish I knew her name! Anyway, this place is far from fancy. It’s clean, easy to get to , and the service could not be better! Kudos to the hiring manager here. BTW I felt the same way last year. The bed is comfortable and the conference rooms are conveniently located!

Place is not safe This place is not safe. My catalytic converter was stolen while parked there. Parking area is dark and no security cameras. Front desk it wasnt the first time. Would not recommend this place. Breakfast was also way too expensive for family.

Will not stay here again. Will not stay at this hotel again. Checked in and main elevators were. It working. The service elevator in the back was working but made for a long wait at times during a busy weekend. The TV only has 5 working channels. The front desk confirmed they were aware and the hotel has been working on it for A FEW WEEKS (really?) no mention of this anywhere on their website or when making a reservation (or even at check in). The doors slam so loudly and our door did not shut without forcefully slamming it shut. So be prepared to hear slamming doors constantly at all hours. The air conditioning was suspect. We had our room set at 70 but never got below 76. The shower did not fully transition from tub to shower…and was very hard to pull the lever from shower to tub. The out door pool was ok…probably the only bright spot.

There’s a better option across the street at the Hilton We had a horrible stay. We got to our room and the phone didn’t work. I went down to the front desk and the response I got was, yeah, most of the phones don’t work. Our bathroom was infested with ants, something that housekeeping should have caught. But then housekeeping would have had to show up when we requested them to find out. I would have spoke with a manager but they were never here. One is supposed to call me but it’s been 14 hours and nothing. Maybe he’s trying to call the phone in my room. And the breakfast in the restaurant, probably one of the worst I’ve ever had.
