Would lean 3.5 if I could...steer clear of rm 3101 Service was great all over from front desk to all restaurant staff. Pool folks were great. Some days the drinks were great others very weak even with a nice starting tip. I think the rowdier the surrounding guests made that call. Food was very good especially at breakfast and at the Italian Buffett. I mostly are at the regional section and enjoyed it every day. Shows were usually later then advertised but fun. Beach was amazing. Kids and I loved boogie boarding daily and the sunsets here are AMAZING For the not sooooo good... Return shuttle was non existent. Uber back to airport. Sports bar was gross and food was horrible compared to other Riu resorts. Family room was so outdated and uncomfortable. Bunk beds were made out of old wood and creaked non stop. Has to nicer mattresses on floor. No hot water. Did not refill mini bar the entire time. If you check in and your room is 3101-3104, get a new one. The housekeeping hub is right next door and they will wake you up daily before 8 am. Behind is the taxi stand and dumpsters. Loud and stinky. Could not enjoy this at all. Would I come back? Maybe fora great promo deal but get on the other side of the resort!!

2 weeks of enjoyment Another 2 weeks of enjoying all that this area has to offer. To the left is a great walk to the Breakwater at the Marina with a look out and to the right the beautiful town of Bucerias. Once at the Riu Jalisco, Alfonso at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with our check in and Miguel was of great service ensuring our luggage got to our room 4193. Carlos Cruz was very helpful with info on sites to see locally. Rosa took great care of our room and we always appreciated seeing the towel animal at the end of the day. Ivan was always there at the Main Buffet to greet you with big welcoming smile. Thru out our stay we had the pleasure of being waited on by Vinceta,Hildalgo and Teresa who all were very attentive. All, as well as others are great at ensuring your stay is as most pleasurable as possible. We enjoyed a great meal as always at the Steakhouse as well the other restaurants on site as well great entertainment for both the youngsters and adults thru out the day and evening. Looking forward to our next visit.

Enjoyed our stay as a group of 11! Had a great time. Went as a family of 11. Very accommodating especially at meal time to seat us all together. Really like the first come first serve and not having to deal with reservations. Food was really good from the buffet to the a la carts. Armando at the swim up bar was amazing! He knew me and my drink within the first day! Always a big smile on his face while hustling fast to keep everyone served! He made the best frozen lime margaritas. All the staff in general were fantastic and the evening entertainment was always fun but if you plan on sleeping or going to bed early it’s very loud until 11 when the shows end. Rooms were simple and clean just wish they had more than 2 sheets to use as covers. Overall we all really enjoyed our stay there!

Very clean! Very very clean, super good services! Vert noisy at night bring your earplugs. Bathroom don’t have door in our room, not the best for Family discretion!

Highly recommended. We'll return! Beautiful grounds are well kept. Large clean beach. Excellent meal options and nightly entertainment.
