A great recovery We had a bit of a mixup for our registration the first go around. A mixup of communication due to a one-year anniversary stay. Now that we had our stay, it was great. No hiccups at all Friendly staff and Marco the manager was very kind/accommodating. I had a more critical review before on Trip Advisor, that I've since deleted. I understand mixups happen, and the recovery on the Hyatt Lodge was appreciated.

Wonderful stay as Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook The staff are very courteous and the lodge is outstanding. Very clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The location and grounds surrounding the lodge are as beautiful as the lodge. Such a wonderful experience every time we stay at Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook!

The Lodge Retreat Wonderful staff and beautiful hotel situated in the woods. Carleton greeted us after a long day. He could see we were in need of a good dinner & rest. He was so kind, accommodating and knowledgeable. We then went to dinner at the Hearth where Luis and Gio greeted us there. The food and service were great. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Although an older hotel(which I love!), it is still very beautiful. Some things need updating but I wouldn't want them to change the style or appearance. Although there were lots of events, it was very quiet where the rooms are located. Beautiful retreat

Hyatt needs to invest a little in this oroperty The best thing about this Hyatt property is it’s great location. It also has some good amenities like the spa and indoor swimming pool, but it is in serious need of updating. Stains on the carpeting/ upholstery , very outdated and some broken furniture, minor paint peeling in the room.

Just trust me, don't book here. Awful, don't book here. Needs updating, dirty carpet, awful air quality if over pool or facing woods. You pick, smell of chlorine or skunk while trying to sleep. Dinner was good but over priced. The picture attached is a $27 dollar hamburger which was supposed to be a two patty smash burger. For context that is normal size bacon, the patties were so small, like for a child.
