Far-Right Propaganda in Lobby In the lobby you'll find complimentary copies of The Epoch Times which is published by a far-right international media company affiliated with the Falun Gong new religious movement. Room assigned was not ready and had to be reassigned. TV in new room did not work properly and toilet seat was loose. But overall hotel was clean, and receptionist was courteous.

Good space comfortable & close to Airport Clean room, a quiet environment and courteous staff. We used Uber to a couple of local restaurants and order in no restaurants onsite just a continental breakfast area.

Terrible experience and service Terrible experience. My family and I had a layover for 5 hours around midnight ant the Oakland anirport and booked this hotel due to its proximity to the airport and offer of shuttle service. On paper everything was great but that’s where things started to go south once we landed and were ready. - 15 minute wait for overnight front desk agent to answer our calls for the shuttle. (After multiple attempts to call) - another 25 minute wait for the shuttle (hotel is 3 minutes away) - check in was quick but the crib was not set up in the room although the agent confirmed this was noted on the reservation. (I was later given the excuse that the room attendant didn’t know how to set up the crib? - what does that even mean? I saw the crib down the hallway with linens tossed in a plastic bag on top. - was told the shuttle service back to the airport was full at 4:30am. I asked what my other options were and she told me to pick another time (but they only run every hour so a 5:30am shuttle would be too late). We hastily booked an Uber to the airport to ensure we make our flight, then a moment later got a call from front desk that there were actually 2 seats open on the bus. Too late to cancel Uber, but at this point we just wanted this whole ordeal and inconvenience to be over with. We will definitely be looking into other venues next time we find ourselves in need of a reliable night’s stay near Oakland airport.

Spacious, clean and quiet hotel I understand why this hotel is #1 in the area. From start to finish this was an amazing stay. We flew into Oakland at 12:10am and came in after the rental car facility closed, so we were forced to stay the night until it opened in the morning. I called the hotel front desk as we were walking to baggage claim to request for a hotel shuttle, and it arrived as soon as we got to the curb. We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel was conveniently outside of the airport. Upon check in we were greeted right away as IHG members. The lobby and interior were clean and bright. Our room was spacious, beds were comfortable, ample outlets to power up all devices, quiet, clean, and nice Dove bathroom products. Always enjoy the complimentary breakfast from pancakes, bacon, sausage, omelets, cinnamon buns, muffins, pastries, bagels, yogurt, fruit, cereal, juice and hot coffee, it was a great way to start off our day. Check out was a breeze and the shuttle brought us to the rental car facility so we could be on our way. It was an excellent stay and the staff was friendly. Would definitely stay here again if in the same predicament.

A good place to stay if flying out of Oakland airport Due to our early flight out of Oakland, it was important to find a hotel close to the airport. This holiday Inn did not disappoint. The rooms were clean and the beds quite comfortable. Check in was easy and in the morning there was food for grab n go since many of the guests were departing before breakfast service began. They do have a shuttle but it is not free. It is convenient though.
