Much Better Than Expected Though the hotel does show its age, outstanding staff service, especially from housekeeping and front desk more than made up for that. Train noise wasn't really a factor and the size of our junior suite was perfect for travelling with the seven year old. Though Hyatt elite breakfast wasn't the best, staff did as much as they possibly could given the limitations of the restaurant currently being closed.

I’d Rather Camp Wow. How or why Hyatt associates with this hotel is beyond me. I’ve slept better at a campground. The hallways are smoky like a casino floor. Don’t bother setting an alarm because you’ll wake up at 6am whether you want to or not from the noise - neighbors’ alarms and TVs can be heard through the tissue paper walls and water in the pipes sounds more like a rocket launch. The bed is so worn that we kept meeting in the low spot in the middle. Very uncomfortable and should’ve been replaced about a decade ago, as with some of the other features in the room. I travel weekly for work, and I can count on one hand how many hotels I’d never stay at again, but this one makes that list. Yes, it’s that bad. Don’t pay any dollar amount to stay here when you’d sleep better on the street curb out front.

Excellent! Will stay again! One - 2 blocks from everything. One block to SF ferry, jazz club, theater and wonderful restaurants. I highly recommend the location. The staff was great. I wish they had a hot tub but made up for it with a fireplace in the lobby.

Convenient to restaurants & ferry Great location to catch ferry to SF. Friendly staff. Scotts restaurant next door with excellent bar & food. Elevator had issues so hopefully resolved. Rooms large & very clean. Water view room was nice to see boats coming/going

Still great but slipping Housekeeping was probably understaffed due to covid. It took many hours and many calls to get a blanket, the tub mat and floor towel mat were both removed during cleaning and not returned. Only had coffee cups, no wine glasses like previous stays. Amenities seem to have been cut back but no change in price. Restaurant is still closed. Lady at valet was very nice and helpful.
