Outstanding We stayed here on our return from evacuation for Milton. The front desk young lady was exceptional, I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. It was an extremely stressful time and she handled the stress graciously. We ordered food from the restaurant and it was delicious the young man at the bar was outstanding. The rooms were large and very clean. Now the mood lighting in the lobby is not the most welcoming but the rest of the building and staff were great.

Disappointing experience in an outdated, run down room We stopped in because we've never had a bad Holiday Inn experience. First, when we got to the hotel, there was a sign on the desk stating that they were sold out for the evening, so we went next door to another Holiday Inn, where the lady at the front desk said they didn't have a room, but the hotel we had just came from did. So back we went, and when we got in, the gentleman behind the desk couldn't reserve our room with the military discount, but said we could reserve it online, but all they had was a standard room. We stood in the lobby and reserved the room, and when we went to get the key, somehow we were put in a King suite. When we got to the room, we were taken aback by a musty smell, and lack of lighting in all of the rooms. The furniture was outdated and uncomfortable. There were stains on the walls, curtains, and valances, and gum ground into the carpet, which was not clean looking or feeling. The water in the bathroom took a very long time to heat up. The bed was more comfortable than expected, but it was still hard to sleep because the air conditioner didn't keep the room a comfortable temperature. Overall, we were very disappointed in our experience here, as we have expected much more from the Holiday Inn brand.

Disgusting suite Hotel is very outdated! Stayed 1 night, out of multiple day reservation. Torn curtains, dirty walls, poor lighting, torn stained nasty carpet. Hotel smells bad. AC runs all night and room still hot and stuffy. Bathroom very outdated and needs replacing. Over priced rooms.

Disgusting suite We stayed in the suite on the 6th floor w/ balcony. The room was very disgusting. Carpets torn, no light in coffee bar. Room appeared to be a catchall for stuff no longer used. There was a single couch in the living area. Lamps mismatched. Hotel is very outdated.

Super Clean! I lived in Ocala for over a year; however, a new opportunity arose across the country that required me to relocate myself and everything from my apartment. I stayed here for one night because my apartment was packed into a moving pod, and I would start my drive the following day. The hotel is situated right off of I-75 with many other hotels from all different brands, as well as a good deal of restaurants within a short drive of the hotel and two within the hotel itself. My check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk agent was polite and helpful. I took the elevator to the fifth floor and found my room, which was nestled into a corner away from the open hallway floorplan. I stayed in a standard king room. The rooms are all painted mint green with a tropical theme, which is tacky but gets the job done. The housekeeping did an excellent job here; my entire room was spotless. I would recommend that anyone in need of lodging in Ocala stay here, as I understand there are many different options, and this one will surely not disappoint!
