Great location poor housekeeping The negatives, room was not clean upon arrival. Had to have house keeping come in and clean the bathroom. House keeping was horrible barely cleaned the room our entire stay of 4 nights. Had to constantly ask for new towels wash cloths and even had to ask for toilet paper because we ran out of toilet paper you would think when you have 5 people in a 2 bedroom hotel room they would at least make sure you had enough toilet paper. They only made the beds a couple of times. Then house keeping has the audacity to have a envelope for tips I’ve stayed in 5 star resorts and they don’t have envelopes for that kinda stuff maybe you need to pay your employees better so they will actually do their job. The positives it’s ocean front, plenty of activities for families and it was the only hotel with 2 bedrooms for a family of 5 instead of having to get two different rooms

Carousel 1712 Horrible Condo This was the worst run down condo I've stayed in. Dirty and a/c doesn't work and is very loud and rattley when running. Missing blinds everywhere and the wifi wouldn't work. I paid a lot of money for a terrible room. Wouldn't recommend anyone staying in this condo. 1712 carousel

Summer vacation with family We rented a condo on AirB&B, it was ok. Condo 904, when she says she supplies nothing she means it. Not a speck of TP or soap. She did have a very comfortable couch, beds weren’t bad, plenty of blankets. lots of furniture for such a small space, and by not providing dish soap, I think dishes were only getting rinsed. We left our dish/hand soap and a roll of TP/paper towels, hoping the next person could at least, use the bathroom when they arrived. The pools were crowded, both inside and out. Get to the beach by 6am if you want something close to the water, and want to watch kids from your spot. There’s a big dip, so they can’t be running for pails of water, you won’t be able to see them. Water is really rough. There is a beautiful park, Northside, about a five minute drive. Nice trails, long pier, clean, playground, plenty of parking. Did a OC sunset cruise, right across the street in Food Lion parking lot. Was very nice, no sunset, (clouds) but boat captain was very informative. Also did a dolphin cruise, kids loved the speed, also fun! Ice skating at the hotel was a fun thing for kids, they have a great ice show at night. But overall, hotel and condos need some work, can walk to DQ, TJ Max, and a few restaurants. Boardwalk was really dirty, stores were jammed with merchandise, nice bathrooms on boardwalk. Restaurants did not look clean, I won’t ever go back to the boardwalk. All-in-all not the beach for us, we’ll stay up north or travel to Myrtle Beach. Heard the colony was really nice, it’s like 20 minutes north of OC.

Awesome entertainment! The DJ, Nigel, tonight was AWESOME!!! Such a great first night! Kept the party going the whole night! The kids had a blast dancing and parents fun too! Great songs and good entertainment! Wish he played everyday! Great food for the whole fam!

Nigel is the best! Great location! Right on the beach. Restaurants had good food and service! The dance parties on the back patio with Nigel and The Bob were super fun - they are great people and know how to entertain all ages! We definitely recommend this place!
