Rude and inconsiderate management with filthy rooms My family and I stayed at the Hilton facility from July 3rd to July 7th. The only positive aspect of our stay was the convenient location. However, our room was disappointingly filthy. When I raised concerns to Junior the clerk at the front desk about stained sheets and pillow covers, he dismissively claimed they were clean and the was normal . I also noticed long black hair all over the shower, which he responded to with sarcasm, implying I was overly critical. Seeking resolution, I spoke with Marlene, a manager, who promised to send "one of her workers" to clean our room. Her attitude towards both customers and staff left much to be desired, treating us like a bother. Brian, another manager, was similarly rude and lacked customer service skills. During my visit to the bar, I found lipstick on my glass. When I requested a replacement drink, the bartender, Chris, downplayed the issue and attempted to clean it with a dirty rag. This was unacceptable, and I opted not to consume anything further from the establishment. I am Hilton Diamond member through my business. After the way we were treated on Saturday I called the Diamond desk and made a complainant mentioning Brian, Junior and Marlene within 20 minutes the front desk had the cops at my hotel door and said that if there was another incident I would be evicted. I asked what the first incident was, and he said he didn't know. In summary, this Hilton facility was unsanitary with management that displayed rudeness and neglect towards guests and their own staff. If you make a complaint be aware they may call the cops on you I would recommend considering other nearby Hilton options, such as the one on 3200 Street with a beautiful pool bar and excellent bartender named Eli, or the Hilton Double tree nearby. Unless you are willing to tolerate rude staff and unclean rooms, that will call the cops making false police report. I suggest avoiding the Hilton on 28th Street.

Actual hotel was a five, staff was a One! The hotel was terrific. Very clean, rooms were airy, clean, and spacious (for an oceanfront room). Feet from the beach, with easy access. Parking was never a problem, and we were able to park underneath. The reason we took off a star was the staff. The management must be horrible here. The front counter had NO ONE, the entire time, who was the least bit helpful, and there was no such thing as a smile. Every time we had an interaction with them, they seemed very disinterested and fake (and we are pleasant people. We don't talk down to anyone). They had no interest in being helpful in any way. One example...when we checked in, we asked where we could walk our dogs on site. The disinterested girl said "oh. I'm not sure. I think there's a dog park around the area somewhere". Seriously? We later found a small are that actually had a poop bag dispenser on the property. We shouldn't have had to search it out ourselves! Another example...We didn't have a do not disturb sign. Three times we asked at the front counter, and three times they said they would get us one. We never saw one the entire 4 days we were there. I had to make a homemade one. We also bumped in to who we assume was the housekeeping manager in the elevators (even though she should have been using the service elevator). She was miserable every time, and in one instance was very berating to a maid she was talking to (in front of customers). The one bright point of the staff was the maid staff. They were VERY pleasant, and made our interaction with the hotel's employees more bearable. Another pleasant person was the bell hop. One last thing that we didn't like. The only breakfast they had was a $20 "buffet". Not a problem if it was a great breakfast. But it was the same exact selection as the free breakfast at the Hilton we recently stayed at in Myrtle Beach. I can see why there was only one set of diners in the place. We ended up going to Happy Jacks restaurant, 2 blocks away, and had an amazing breakfast at half the price. But, Overall, a great hotel, if you don't mind the terrible service.

Good place to stay We had a Oceanfront King Suite and it is very spacious. There are 2 separate room; a bedroom area with the bathroom and then a living room with a kitchenette attached. Each area has its own entrance onto the balcony with is also very spacious. Check-in was very easy. Parking is $15 a day, it includes a garage under the building or the parking lot in the front. $50 hold per day for incidentals. Curtains keep out light from the sun in the morning. View from balcony is great. Has a decent sized fridge, range top, microwave. Kitchenette has Keruig. Also comes stocked with dishes, silverware and things to use on the stove. Bathroom comes stocked with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and hand soap, and not little bottles like most places. All around a good hotel. Only downside to the room is the pillows, they don't have a whole lot of fluff to them.

Very Enjoyable Stay First time visit at this beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable hotel. Had a great experience from the time we arrived and were greeted at the door by a super friendly & helpful bellhop named Vince to the day we checked out. Enjoyed the ocean/beach view while relaxing on our 11th floor balcony….lots of surfers on our final two days and spotted several dolphins. Have to say we were a bit disappointed in the lack of television channels. Couldn’t even get our Phillies but were able to enjoy the game, a delicious meal, and several drinks at Coins Pub & Restaurant which was within walking distance.
