Clean, Convenient & Friendly! We decided to take a spontaneous trip to Ocean City and found that the reviews for the Howard Johnson were just what we were looking for—and we’re so glad we booked it! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming. We were checked in by the hotel manager, Ashley, who was working the front desk on a Saturday. She was so sweet and personable, with such a genuine and positive attitude—it really made our check-in experience extra special. The location of the hotel is perfect—just steps from the beach—with convenient on-site parking. Everything was clean and well-kept, and you can tell the team takes pride in keeping the place in great shape. It was the perfect spot for a last-minute getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Friendly staff. Great Bar and restaurant. Would love to stay again. Great place to stay. Had an ocean front room which was clean and updated. The Hotel has a great bar and some of the best pizza I have ever had. Enjoyed walking the boardwalk and shopping in the stores that were open. The pool area was clean and well kept. Hot tub very relaxing.

March Getaway The room was clean and the staff was very nice. The view was great. Perfect walking distance to the pier and attractions. Enjoyed the balcony with two comfortable chairs. The pool and hot tub was well maintained and a great way to end each day.

Outstanding!! We have been coming to the Howard Johnson on 12th Street for at least 10 years!! The location is perfect right on the boardwalk and the beach. The rooms are comfortable and always clean!! The staff provides world-class service and they go the extra mile!! We love the hot tub and indoor pool especially when we stay outside of the summer months. We leave happy and relaxed!!

Great experience We had a great stay. The staff was super friendly. The kids really enjoyed the indoor pool. I’m so happy to hear the hotel is pet friendly. I love that the hotel is right on the beach close to all of the restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back!
