An Absolute "Go-To"! I wanted to take a couple of moments, now that we have returned from our vacation trip, to let you know of the absolutely incredible service we received while staying at the DoubleTree.  We have stayed there on several occasions; and have made it a go-to for our vacation plans each year.  With that being said, this year it was an absolutely amazing demonstration of what your facility represents in the Hilton chain.   We travel extensively, and are currently Diamonds in the Hilton Honors program.  This year we were able to add additional family members to our timing in Ocean City which was long overdue and greatly anticipated; especially since we were joined by our first 1 year old grandchild!  They, unfortunately, had booked with another chain located in close proximity to the DoubleTree; which was a nightmare from the beginning.  With all family members arriving in Ocean City at virtually the same time, the check-in process was initiated by all.  As usual our check in was accommodating, friendly, professional, and most enjoyable.  Pat was the epitome of the consummate front desk representative; and it only got better from there.  Completing our check-in, we proceeded to meet the rest of the family at the other hotel.  My daughter, son-in-law, and grandchild had quite a different beginning to their check-in process.  Walking into the hotel it quickly became obvious that there was absolutely no air conditioning in the concierge / front desk area.  It was stifling. Upon attempting to enter the 1st room, it was learned that it was already occupied,  Obtaining keys to a 2nd room allowed us to walk into a room that was also already occupied.  On the third attempt, the room was found to be literally filled with mold.  All over the ceiling, lampshades, bedposts, etc.  Absolutely unbelievable  There was only one thing to do...reach out to the DoubleTree for assistance.  Pat jumped right on it, asked for 15 minutes to check what might be able to be accomplished, and at the end of the 15 minutes called us to advise he was able to find us a room for our daughter and her family.  It is impossible to describe the relief and gratitude that was experienced by ALL of the family.  Check in for them was a night & day experience...and they too are now Hilton Honors members.  During the rest of our stay the entire family interacted with Pat; who was always accommodating and displayed true family feelings the entire visit. In addition, the service throughout the resort was a continuation of the aforementioned professionalism, genuineness, politeness, and accommodation we have come to know and cherish at the DoubleTree in Ocean City.  Eric at the Cabana Bar was always attentive, informative, engaging, and helpful.  Many times he offered suggestions for food, activities, and local ambiance.  He, Gary, and Ryan were an exemplary team. Again, an enormous "thank you" to your staff is warranted; and we look forward to many more hard earned vacations being spent in your facility. Great Job To All!

Outstanding Hotel- Can’t Wait to Come Back!! Outstanding hotel, highly recommend!!! Stayed here with family of 4 in an oceanfront double bed with kitchenette. The room was amazing- extremely clean, beautifully furnished and modern, and surprisingly so spacious for a beachfront hotel. We did not want to spend $15 for a full breakfast; the kitchenette made it perfect for having quick breakfast and lunch without going out so you can maximize the whole day on the beach. A nice surprise was having an additional toilet room entirely separate from the main bathroom- not sure I’ve ever seen that in a hotel room that wasn't an upgraded two bedroom suite! Vanity sink outside both toilet rooms and additional full length mirror made it helpful for multiple people to get ready at same time. The oceanfront balcony was spacious and had very comfortable outdoor furniture. The hotel property was well maintained, common areas were clean, and there were two outdoor pools and one indoor pool. Loved that the hotel parking was a covered garage connected to building so you could park on your floor and walk straight in from the garage. Customer service was also outstanding- when I asked for a room change to be on a higher floor they readily accommodated. When one of our key cards was not working, staff was responsive with providing a new key and even sent up a maintenance person immediately to ensure there was no issue with the door. The signature DoubleTree offering of cookies at check-in is always a nice touch. Housekeeping staff was friendly and quick to please with anything we needed for the room. The location was perfect- steps from the beach, which was not too crowded in June, and only a few blocks from the north end of the boardwalk without being right ON the boardwalk. It was also nicely situated to multiple eateries and entertainment (like the Jolly Roger amusement/water/speedway park).Only one minor recommendation for hotel- would appreciate smart tv in room with options to log into streaming apps instead of having to flip through traditional cable tv channels with no guide. Thank you for a wonderful stay- would definitely come back!!

Great location Pros: Great location, free parking, friendly staff, daily housekeeping and Starbucks onsite. Cons: Furniture needs updating (sofa, chair, dressers, table/chairs) - very outdated, the kitchen light is poorly located, lack of overhead lighting above table and in living room, lack of outlets by the table/dresser in living area, the tub/shower was very slippery - there is a handle bar but slippery, no hooks on the bathroom door and only one towel rack, quite a few of the light switches didn't do anything and the outdoor pool wasn't open.

Outstanding stay! I just completed a 4 night stay at this hotel and it is outstanding. Hotel has 2 outdoor pools and 1 heated indoor pool. The hotel restaurant is superb and I was able to use Hilton Gold dining credit there nightly. I stayed in a 2 queen bed 1 king bed oceanfront suite with the biggest balcony that I have ever seen. Free covered garage parking is included. Housekeeping was fabulous and room was extremely clean.

Great view, service and food Excellent service throughout the hotel. It wasn’t a busy time in March and I received an upgrade to a nice ocean front room. Even as a diamond member, that doesn’t always happen. The room was large and had 2 sinks and bathroom facilities which was wonderful. The room was a little dated, but clean and very comfortable. We had breakfast there and the food was excellent. I ordered an omelette which could feed 3 people! Big and tasted great. Staff was friendly and Pat checked me out when we left. He was personable and sincerely interested in our stay.
