Wonderful stay! 1st stay at Lillagaard, 2nd trip to Ocean Grove. Loooooooved my stay here! Traveling solo is not a concern in this area, felt safe at the Inn and out and about. Stayed in the Ocean View room which was perfect for 1 person. It did indeed have an ocean view! It wasnt overly hot while I was there - so open window and ceiling fan were sufficent. There is a window unit A/C - it is very close to the bed, so I am sure it would keep anyone cool. Breakfast was lovely. Access to the refridgerator and microwave were great for leftovers and late night snacks! Beach chairs, towels, and a spot to rinse sandy feet! Only suggestion would be to add a spot to fill water bottles. The porches are to die for with very comfortable seating. I enjoyed sitting out on the decks in the evening after a walk down to Asbury. Can't wait until I return to this area - will without hesitation book the Lillagaard again.

Happy visit in August! Very nice Inn to stay at. Our room had a couple of issues, and the Owner was immediately "hands on"! Very caring attentive Management. The Inn is a block away from the beach and our Hosts supplied us with everything; Beach towels, umbrellas, drinks, games, etc... They have thought of everything. Can't wait to visit again.

Quaint, Clean & Convenient Awesome place. Quaint, clean and convenient. One block from beach, and just a short walk to Asbury Park or Bradley Beach. Several nice porches to hang out after a day on the beach or dinner. Kevin & Suzanne made us feel like old friends. Can't wait to go back.

Perfect place to stay Fourth year we've been here. Location is perfect, Breakfast's are very good, and the owner's are exceptional in their desire to make your stay a memorable one. Rooms are very clean and the Inn is very close to the beach and the boardwalk. We look forward to going back very soon.

In the Dark I’m not a confrontational or complaining person. However…. No power and no hot water (yes we did let it run)for our two day stay was a lot to take. On day one you said a generator was in the works. What would you think? For a total over $600???. Disappointed is an understatement. No offer of discount even if nominal? Maybe something to consider in the future . I did email Lilligard my feelings. No response……
