Not recommended If you have a dog and have trouble walking this is not for you. Room was on the end with a long walk. The mattress was hard and had trouble getting towels. This was a one and done trip. Beach was beautiful and pool was nice and breakfast was just okay.

Disappointed Nice location and close to the beach, but that’s where the good ends. Hallways and elevator are so hot, humid and wet when it rains that it’s miserable going in and out. No A/C in either. I requested daily housekeeping expecting daily bed linens to be changed along with fresh towels. Nobody wants to sleep in even a small amount of sand. But linens were never changed! Beds were just remade…sand included! Good thing we didn’t want to watch TV. Roku remote, with Direct TV channel guide provided, but no instructions on how to get to them. Plus we figured out the “down” button on the remote would not work. Gave up trying to watch it.

Short trip to Ocean Isle We were informed of “out of order elevator” three days before arrival but decided to keep reservation, it seems the elevator broke down weeks ago, this was not a good decision. Older construction that needs to be updated. Room was clean, very nice service staff.

Not great, Not horrible The best thing about our room was the oceanfront view. If you wanted any type of housekeeping, you had to notify the front desk the night before. You put dirty towels outside your room, and they leave clean ones in a plastic bag outside your room in return. The bathtub did not drain well at all, and sometimes it took a few minutes for the water to get warm. There was a mini refrigerator in our room; however, it was missing the pieces on the door that hold stuff so you couldn’t put anything on the door. We found several hairs on our pillowcases and towels. The room and hotel itself did seem clean though. A simple breakfast is offered which includes frozen packaged sausage biscuits, waffles, cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, and fruit cups. The indoor pool was clean but the water was not warm enough. The hot tub was nice. Unfortunately, the elevator was not working during our stay due to a thunderstorm that had recently hit the area. It could be difficult for some to go up and down the stairs each time they leave the room. Hopefully, they can get the elevator repaired soon. Overall, our stay was not a great experience, but not horrible either.

Outstanding service We occupied an ocean-front room during New Year's weekend. Although temps were chilly & windy, the room was warm; the thermostat was responsive and accurate. Rooms were clean; cleaning service was excellent. Upon checkout, I accidentally left my orthopedic pillow on the bed. Upon notification, hotel staff promptly mailed pillow to my home. I could not be more appreciative for this outstanding service.
