Will miss living here over 1 year as Travel nurse. And best of allI got to bring my fur baby with no extra chargel I ended up st the Extended stay hotel about 1year ago as a travel nurse working in the areaI will be leaving soon because I got s new travel job.I took me a while to land another job and was late paying my rent but the manager trusted me enough to not kick me to the street. The staff here is hand picked .They all are courteous.help in every way possible. On site laundry room is not the best but it is run by offsite company.Better to go to laundermat.Parking is safe.Lomg term residents are here for various reasons but are not homeless and ive never seen any drug issues or drunk guests. The staff is protective and would never allow that.Ive lost my room key almost on a daily basis and am very festitious and need new sheets weekly and daily towels.Im always given what i need.I will miss living here as I had everything i needed except my own furniture otherwise I would definatly stay at this hotel. Is especially grest for a business stay. This is not fancy like Mariott or Hilton for the price. You csn find better deals for room rates with corporate or online otherwise rates are a little too high especially in Summer and when San Diego has comic Com..

Wow this place is a dump This hotel wasn't rated too badly online so we booked based on the price. What a mistake. This place is horrible. Ants everywhere and a weird smell you just can't get rid of in the room. Also, they don't tell you up front that they don't service the room daily. Actually, they don't service the room AT ALL unless you're staying at least a week. When we asked them if they could service the room for us anyway as a courtesy the front desk said yes and still didn't. Oh and one more thing: they say "breakfast" is included with your room....I don't think anyone would call their pathetic offering breakfast.

COCKROACHES!!! 0 stars!!! I do not recommend this hotel at all. I booked since it wasn't too far from Legoland, upon arriving the lobby had a weird smell, stains EVERYWHERE and the elevator was broken (super inconvenient if your traveling with infants or luggage!). We checked into our room - 116 - were there for about 30 minutes and I noticed a bug on the nightstand. It was a COCKROACH! I was so disgusted, I had my baby with me and did not feel comfortable staying. I went to the front desk and informed them, they said they would come check my room in a few minutes. 10 minutes passed by and nothing so I went back to the front and requested a refund for the whole stay, I wanted to leave and find another hotel. The women at the front desk said they could offer me half off but not a refund. I went back and forth with her. The hotel had roaches! There was no way I was going to stay! After a few minutes she said if I checked out I could get a full refund so I did so. This hotel was very dirty I do not recommend at all! I was left stranded to find another hotel on a Friday night with a 9month old. Do not recommend staying here ever!!! Attaching a photo of the cockroach that we killed on the nightstand. Disgusting.

what a complete lack of competent management so i needed a room, i was coming in late to the oceanside area from calpatria, it was around 1030 pm or so when i booked my room at the oceanside location. i took a quick trip to cvs then promptly drove to the hotel, so as not to aggravate night audit. (i know how frustrating it can be, to try and get paperwork done while customers keep arriving) i arrived around 1050pm and walked to the lobby, a sign saying (i’m helping a customer) was on the desk. the phone began to ring around a quarter till.after waiting till midnight i decided maybe i should call the next closest ESA and see if they can help me. the young lady i spoke to was agast, and put me on hold. a few mins later, the young lady informed me that she had contacted my hotel, and it’s general manager, due to zero communication she then had to contact her District manager whom i can only hope is at least half as competent as the wonderful young lady at the carlsbad ESA, maybe she should be manager. after talking to priceline i came to the conclusion that i was SOL, and i would be cuddling up inside my mdx until morning. it was a bit chilly around 4am but man, do i miss pillow. i find the entire evening to be even more bitter sweet and ironic to boot; as i had not a few months ago applied for the gm position at that very hotel, to my chagrin i was informed that i didn’t have the experience they were looking for. obviously whoever did make the cut, seems to be less than professional. anyway think you for the pain in my lower back extended stay america of oceanside. acura’s aren’t known for they’re sleeping accommodations, lol. adding insult to injury, im not going to assume i know the utility bills of that esa, but i do know that if there are over a hundred rooms and everyone is paying 100+ a night+ tax, they can afford to at glassy update the signage on the broken elevator.

Extended start nightmare This place is dingy, dirty, and dated. The front lobby is dark and dirty. The elevator smelled of pot and hallways smell like food 24/7. I was disappointed to see few patrons wearing masks and the front desk staff wearing theirs inappropriately below the nose. When I got to my room I found it had not been cleaned. There was an unpleasant odor and we soon found the source, food left in the microwave. The bathrooms had spots on the mirror and hair on the floor, and the rest of the floor had not been cleaned or vacuumed either. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk, they told me they were completely booked up and could not change our room, but they could comp 1 night of our extended stay. I went to the local target to buy clorox, lysol, and all my own linens to use during the duration of my stay as it was too late to book elsewhere. The one redeeming quality was it was fairly quiet on the 3rd floor. However, I would still not recommend anyone stay here based on my experience.
