Plumbing issues and belongings thrown away Very disappointed with our stay here. This hotel clearly has a major plumbing issue as at least 4 guests reported sewage smells in their room. We were moved to a new room--and told we could leave our belongings and return to our room once the problem was resolved. Apparently this wasn't communicated to housekeeping and most of our belongings were thrown away, even some items that appear to be stolen (like a bluetooth speaker), and only a few items of clothing were returned to us. I was forced to file an insurance claim with the chain, and they did nothing to help (have offered me a $100 gift card), saying they couldn't verify anything else was in the room. The hotel staff did what they could, comping us one night and some money for our groceries, but it did not begin to cover the total monetary value of the items lost (over $500) or our pain and suffering. We ended up staying in 3 different rooms, and the third room also had recurring plumbing issues requiring an outside plumber to totally remove the toilet. I came to this hotel with my boyfriend as he was recovering from a major accident and undergoing surgery. We came here for rest, and instead we got stress. The rooms were nice, I just wish the experience had been different.

Good front desk service, clean and cozy, can be better to achieve Marriott's standard Convenient location and very family-friendly hotel, which I always expect how Residence Inn should look like. Service is good here, the trash can outside of the entrances should be cleaned more frequently, the room where I stay is closed to the stairway, can hear neighbor's snoring sometimes, however the space between door and its frame is wide and obviously been opened by forced, the Aisle light from outside of the door bothers a lot when sleeping in the night. Fitness closed, but overall experience is not bad.

Possible Homeless Shelter - dirty, weird, bad service This property is being used for some type of government program such as "Project Roomkey", to either house displaced people during COVID19, homeless, or a quarantine center. There are both state and federal programs. Had a bad stay as it was, and the property was dirty and lots of people of need staying there, being loud, leaving trash in hallways (lots of liquor) not wearing masks, etc. People walking around middle of night. I asked politely what was going on ans they got very defensive, raised there voice, and wouldn't tell me anything. I decided to leave immediately, cancel my stay and go somewhere else. Very odd. I do know there are lots of hotels using these programs to help out and survive during COVID19 but that is no excuse for treating paying customers so poorly. Just don't stay there is my recommendation.

Comfortable Spacious Suite We had a very nice stay in the studio suite. It was spacious enough for visiting with family members that live within the area. Our suite allowed plenty of privacy as well. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Not terrible but could use some SERIOUS help. I wanted to LOVE this place. Our stay was overall about a 6. We had a King suite that smelled of pet urine, but we have two dogs and understood it comes with traveling and booking with pets. We overlooked that. Upon our second visit to the pool, we had issues. I don’t personally take COVID as seriously as most, but we do wear masks and take somewhat precautions. The pool has signs everywhere stating their COVID protocols and you must sign in to receive towels and your timeframe for pool usage. We signed in, got our time, pool towels, and headed to the pool. About 40 mins later, two large families enter and start setting up tables with food and about 14 others jump in the pool. The max is 10 in the pool. I decided we should just pack up for the sake of safety the fact there are signs EVERYWHERE stating the information. My 12 year old stepped on glass while drying off. I rushed him and my two other children back to the room to make sure blood doesn’t get on the pool area. I go to the front desk and ask for the tweezers in their first aid kit. I explained the situation and was handed a single gauze pad and burn gel. Not an apology or any interest in what was happening in the pool area. I was asked my room number to check to see if I had signed in, the front desk lady found my name and seemed surprised we left before our timeframe was up. She then said she didn’t think the people at the pool were registered guests.... uhhh, WHAT? Why would you tell me you’re knowingly letting unregistered guests swim here? C’mon guys. Beautiful location but major missteps with hospitality and safety concerns.
