3rd time stay at the Riu Hotel We chose this hotel for it's excellency from previous visits, this time was to celebrate our 20t wedding anniversary. The hotel accommodation was fab. The re-vamp of the accommodation was impressive. Also, to be able to book a restaurant via the app was impressive once we spoke to the receptionist, only thing I was unsure about was the way these special restaurants where set out, the steak one felt as though it was part of the St Annes buffet. The changes to the St Annes restaurant to me, was not very good. We loved it in our previous visits. I personal found the various meats over cooked or hard to chew, the soups where fantastic. We missed the ladies who use to make the smoothies fresh for you, omelettes eat., The cleaning was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We didn't do any trips as we had already done the ones we wanted on our first visits. The one thing I would personally recommend, especially for the aged people would be, paint the side edges of any steps with a white or bright colour paint or even with lights. I fell the first night as I couldn't gage the steps, I though it was a ramp. The lack of handrails downtime the beach. Don't gt me wrong, I'm not complaining just saying what I feel needs looking at, this is the 5th time in Jamaica and we will definatley be back. We really missed the Japanese restaurant, the show boating of the chef was fab.
