Find another place to stay - lucky to have 1 star. We were grossly disappointed with our experience. We were to stay for 3 nights and after two nights we left. I tried to bare with it but just could not. The pillows were flat, the room was damp, the bed was as old as time - no support, saggy, and they threw a foam topper on top and a sheet - no mattress protector and in the humid environment the cheap topper was nasty. No barrier - very unsanitary. But the worst was the amount of chemical cleaner they used. My eyes burned, my throat burned - it was incredibly toxic. It would hit you like a brick wall as you enter the building. Almost as if they were trying to hid something - it was incredibly strong. We were informed about the included breakfast until 10am. At 9:10 we went to breakfast. They were low on food, the employee stated that they would not be able to make more than what was available as it would take to long....50 minutes prior to "breakfast" being over. We arrived back to hotel after a wedding at 11:45pm, we asked the front desk person for two bottles of water and she said that she could not give us any as only the housekeepers could supply water. We then asked if we could buy water and she said that would not be possible as they do not sell water. ???????? Absurd. The location was great and two of the staff members were friendly and pleasant. I do not recommend staying here.

Christmas Eve n July I thoroughly enjoyed the old furnishings and home which was very similar to my own 1800 house. I also got a good night sleep. But I will say that the king size bed mattress itself was old and was not firm. You sunk in it. It didn’t hold you on top of it. It folded you like a taco. _ The rug was also kind of gross. Just old and stained it definitely needs some TLC to make you feel like you’re in a fresh clean room. Whoever cleaned, it, really should pay attention to detail because there was towel fuzz on the floor Bobby pins in the drawer of the dresser and it just showed that whoever cleaned it did not have a good eye for attention to detail, and you actually felt it in there. The breakfast was very good. I do wish that there was an option to have coffee pots in the rooms instead of just out in the open so if you feel like waking up and not getting dressed, you don’t have to. Otherwise, the only option is to get dressed and go out of your room. The best aspect is that it is a five to 10 min walk to the pier.

Old Orchard Beach Inn is Fantastic Old Orchard Beach Inn is a truly interesting place to stay. To say it has character is a bit of an understatement. It has character and charm and is quite quirky in the best ways. We were greeted by a striking young woman who instantly made us feel welcome and comfortable. She was patient in her explanation that we were in a different building from the main office, but made sure we were very clear on the set up. Our room was in the third building and featured a queen size bed and a twin bed as we were traveling with our daughter. It was quite comfortable and we had a private bathroom, as well, although the bathroom was in a shared hallway. This was not a problem, though, and gave us something to talk and laugh about. The private bathroom was well appointed, as was our room, and we loved the charm of the old home that the Old Orchard Beach Inn has set up as part of the Inn. The wooden staircase was beautiful that led to our second story room, for example, and I wish I would have had time to explore more of the features. I did enjoy the complimentary breakfast the next morning. It was fairly typical for a motel breakfast, but the food was hot and fresh and tasty. I will definitely come back again.

Perfect stay! The old orchard beach inn is simply perfect. We went with my parents and my boyfriend and we truly had the best time. We got to enjoy the super good breakfast and the pool which was perfect because it was hot! A special thank you to Omar, who upgraded my boyfriend and I! You are a wonderful employee :) the hotel is near the beach, and the little poarch in front of it is just amazing for 5 to 7 wine time! The beach inn is super charming and makes us feel like we are in the 60s! Our stay was truly perfect. Thank you all again!

This Inn proved the saving grace to my weekend The Old Orchard Beach Inn is an historic building tastefully preserved while providing comfort and hospitality to weary travelers. On a vacation planned elsewhere in Maine, my vehicle suddenly died on a Sunday morning with no open auto repair, and 470 miles from home, I am stranded. It's summer and Old Orchard Beach is a popular vacation spot. AAA steered me to one of the last rooms available at this bed and breakfast. Their reviews promised clean, comfortable accommodations at a reasonable price. I got so much more! The end is over 200 years old, and still laid out pretty much as it would have served visitors in the Victorian era. My room is decorated with tasteful wallpaper, lacy curtains, quilt covered cherry bed frame and what I'm almost sure are the original ceiling beams . But I also have a modern TV, dorm- sized refrigerator with freezer and microwave, WiFi and clean flooring. The mattress is divine. The bathroom accoutrements are high quality. This morning's complimentary breakfast included fresh watermelon, eggs, toast, yogurt -- and delicious coffee. And most of all, every single staff member has gone out of their way to smile, offer suggestions, point out amenities and in every way make what would otherwise be a bad situation absolutely bearable. Bonus: the beach is visible from the top floor and only a five minute walk away.
