SAYBROOK POINT INN AND SPA

Perfect Getaway! We came to the East Coast to visit family and unfortunately they were sick. We booked at Saybrook Point Inn and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The perfect little getaway. Fresh Salt restaurant had some amazing food too! Loved it! We spent time at the pool and went to the gym each day. Great spot!

We found our Thanksgiving weekend Nirvana! After years of driving for hours on the Northeast Corridor, this year, the three of us decided to meet somewhere in the middle of our homes and along the Amtrak rail route. We found Nirvana! From the moment we walked into the lobby on Thanksgiving Day, we felt truly welcome and instantly relaxed. Our room was spectacular!! First thing we did was head to the heated outdoor pool which was actually warm enough to swim in on a cold fall day. So much fun!! The indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna/steam rooms were also wonderful. Dinner in Fresh Salt was perfect! We spent two nights at the resort and didn't want to leave. Next year, we will be sure to use the shuttle service between the resort and the adorable Old Saybrook train station.

Fraudulent Chareges It was a terrible experience with Old Saybrook Point In. I booked to rooms they charged me for 4. When I checked my CC, I saw 4 charges from them, and I called to question them, and they stated only see two. All 4 charges went through. I sent them a email stating what happened and received a general email back and never heard from them again. So, yet I called again and spoke with the bookkeeper explaining the situation she was very rude and said I had four rooms, and all were checked in and out of I stated well that is incorrect. Long story short I am still waiting on them to refund me for 2 rooms which is over $2,000.00 charged. If you stay please pay attention to what they are charging you. I went there for a wedding and 4 other people had the issue.

Pool manager needs a new hobby The man who runs the pool gets off on yelling at little kids. This hotel and pool are best for the 80+ crowd. Anyone with small children should save their time and money and go straight to waters edge. There's absolutely no fun to be had here. We didn't even stay the night.

Wedding fun Lovely room and great staff. The cocktail hour food was absolutely delicious and attention to detail was impressive. This was not our first time at Saybrook Point Inn and it will definitely not be our last. Thank you for a wonderful fall weekend on the Connecticut shoreline.
