Clean, but also kind of creepy. The hotel was very convenient for a one night stay before an early flight. Arrived after dark. Lobby was very dimly lit and front desk had security behind the desk. Overall vibe? Creepy. Definitely some odd people coming in and out looking like they were only there for an hourly stay… Overall the room was clean, but in general the hotel and room were both very dated. Carpet throughout the hallways and room was very worn down and dingy. The doors and walls had layers and layers of paint with some of the older layer showing through. Elevator wasn’t working so we had to go to the end of the hall to take the service elevator, which was kind of weird. Overall, I didn’t feel super safe, but we made it through.

Very Good Value and Much Better Than Expected I read a lot of mixed reviews, but at least in my case my room on the 4th floor near the elevator was updated, spacious, clean, nice bedding and quiet. My bathroom was recently renovated with a new elongated toilet, granite countertop, tasteful contemporary wall paper, warm white lighting and wall sconces, new cast iron, porcelain finished combination bathtub and shower (and the toilet had adequate space around it--because one review said it almost touched the bathtub). The lobby was spacious and reasonably updated (since the building itself was likely from the late 70's or early 80's. There was plenty of free parking and nighttime parking lot security (but they do encourage guests not to leave any visible, exposed items in their car to discourage theft). Checkout time was a generous 12pm. I did not try the restaurant, but it appeared to offer a breakfast buffet for $16 which seemed nicer than free continental breakfast and reasonably priced. My only slight disappointment was that their coffee bar was not open in the morning so I had to drive 2 short blocks to a wonderful coffee place named Klatch Coffee with good coffee and freshly baked pastries (better than premade ones at Starbucks or Coffee Bean). My front desk person named Arianna was excellent, efficient and accomodating. FYI--I am thrifty and booked my room blindly by location and star rating on Hotwire then later on Trip Advisor read some questionable reviews, but I was very satisfied and only paid $100 including all fees and taxes on that app.

May or may not be back The hotel is nice looking, clean. We were greeted warmly at the front desk. The lady took good care of us while checking in. She gave us good directions to the room and the best place to park. Upon entering the room, everything looked good until we put our stuff down. I sat on the bed and pulled the corner of the bedding down. There were several brownish stains on the sheets and the pillow case. You can tell it was fresh, not washed. I called the front desk and told the lady about it. The options were a different room or I can change the sheets because housekeeping left at 4:30pm. There were 4 of us and had already started unpacking. So I opted to change the sheets myself. At least I know those sheets were clean, but who knows about the other bed. Now I'm unsure about trusting that the room is cleaned properly.

Spend a little extra for a full night's sleep and for your car to not be broken into. Noise in ceiling that did not stop the entire time we where there. Reported it to the front desk staff, specifically Christine, but she just assumed it was the other room occupants having sex. I told her we were in the room for 10+, I thought anyone can go that long without a break. She also felt the need to say she's never heard the noise which was irrelevant. In addition, our truck bed cover was slashed. They didn't seem to care.

very poor choice on my part to stay here The stay at this hotel was very poor at best. There was no hot water after running for 15 minutes. The TV remote did not work, they had to bring in a new remote. There was no refrigerator. There was no furniture but only one chair by the desk. There was nothing to put your suitcase on, to unload your suitcase, except the bed. The dresser had very small drawers to put your clothes in. The toilet paper was behind the toilet, so anyone with shoulder problems could not use the dispenser. What a stupid place to put toilet paper. You can’t see it or tear off any toilet paper. The toilet was lower than your knees, so anyone with knee or hip problems had a hard time getting off the toilet. Also, because the toilet was lower than your knees, and anyone with hip or knee problems, it was extremely difficult to clean yourself after using the toilet. The was only one room service in 5 days. There was a very small soap to clean with, and very hard to use, as it would not soften up to release the soap. At Check-In, they charge your credit card $100.00 for incidentals. Just in case you charge your room, to pay something. The windows were so dirty, it was hard to look out of them. Maybe they are waiting for it to rain and let the rain clean the windows.
