Items stolen from our room. Beware! Hotel did nothing! Well I was going to write an amazing review of the Tamajian all inclusive but on our 3rd day at the hotel someone broke into our room and stole a bunch of our stuff. Gifts we bought from the gift shop, jewelry, wallet, you name in. They came In while we were out on an excursion. Came in through the front door. Everyone says Aruba is so safe but here we are. The hotel has done nothing! We filed a police report and the manager of the hotel never even called us! The head of security sent us an email saying they didn’t find anything and basically that’s it. No one from the hotel has called us or offered us anything. They literally could not care less. Disappointing since we did really like the hotel but now we will never go back. For anyone staying there becareful!

Resort Beautiful, Rooms a Total Disappointment We booked this trip for our family, 4 adults and 3 children, in November of last year for this July and requested adjoining rooms with a poolview. When we arrived, we were put in the Veranda tower in two non-connecting rooms and were told that it was recently renovated. The location was great, but the rooms a total disappointment. The Divi All Inclusive Aruba Resort, itself, is beautiful and very clean, and the grounds were well maintained. The food in the buffet and the snack bars and Le Cafe was good. The Red Parrot was the best. However, the Paparazzi at the Tamarijn was awful. The service was terrible. The food was not too great, either. We had to ask for bread, cheese, drink refills, and the waiter never checked on us to see how things were. Now for the rooms: Floor filthy (white socks turned black from walking on floor) Stain on the comforter cover (looked like a coffee stain) Three in our room, but only two bath towels, washcloths, hand towels Room Too Cold, Air Conditioner Fan blowing on bed No hot water in shower or sinks One room had no light, only reading lamp hooked to the bed The next morning, I went to the front desk and told them of these complaints, along with pictures of the dirty socks, stains on comforter, etc. To their credit, they changed the comforter cover. They also put a lamp in the room with no lights. I did have to have maintenance come in twice to adjust the air conditioner (Vanes couldn't be adjusted so they gave us blankets) and the hot water situation. It seemed that all three faucets were installed incorrectly (one had hot water on left and two on the right). The rooms were very run down. Considering the price we paid, this was a total disappointment. Never again!

Just ok I just returned from a week at the Divi All Inclusive with my family. We had a great trip to Aruba but our stay at the Divi was a bit different than what we expected. Overall I would consider this a decent option if you’re looking for a good location on the island, quieter beach compared to the high rise area, and you’re ok with either basic food quality or spending additional money for meals off the resort (there are plenty of great options close by). If you do stay at Divi or Tamarijn, bring cash for tips. It’s common to tip and the service team appreciates them. Highlights: - The location itself is great. It’s about 20 min from the airport and 10 min from the high rise section where we did a few excursions. - Taxis are easily accessible. There were often taxis waiting outside the hotel but if not, the front desk quickly calls them for you. - The Divi and Tamarijn are connected and share amenities. It’s a quick walk between the two but they also have shuttles that run all the time between them. - The beach is beautiful. We had a lot more waves on the Divi side, but the water was much calmer on the Tamarijn side. There was also an amazing snorkel spot right outside of the Tamarijn. Bring your own snorkel gear, you will use it! - We didn’t have any issues finding beach chairs to use no matter what time we got out there. There are enough options for both shade and sun. - The water stations throughout the property were great. They give you reusable bottles when you check in. - It’s very family-friendly. They have fun nightly entertainment around 8pm but other than that it’s quiet. Great for a family vacation but it’s not a party spot if that’s what you’re looking for. - Staff is very friendly, everyone was happy to answer a question or help with something. Housekeeping is very reliable, there were always plenty of fresh towels for multiple daily showers! Room for improvement: - The food is just ok. It’s not good, but it’s convenient. I didn’t expect a lot from the buffet/live cooking restaurant but I was surprised that the nicer restaurants (Red Parrot, Paparazzi) didn’t have better quality. Exceptions made for the croissants at the coffee shop each morning (very good, lots of variety) and Pure Lime, the Mexican restaurant on site (best meal we had on property). Beach Bar on property was also great for lunch but it’s not part of the all inclusive, you need to pay extra. - Making dinner reservations at any of the restaurants was difficult via the app as we often got messages that nothing was available or the only times available were 5pm. Going thru the concierge is more successful but is less convenient and defeats the purpose of the app. - Our room was pretty outdated with rust in the bathroom and the towel rack and tissue holder were falling apart. I don’t need a fancy towel rack or tissue holder but it was indicative of the overall condition. The room was surface level clean but not totally. Far from the luxurious accommodations presented on the website. It might exist somewhere on the property, but not the room we stayed in. - There was construction happening right outside our room for much of our trip. I understand the need to keep up with renovations but it definitely impacted the relaxing vibe! Just something to take note of at this hotel. - Divi offers a vacation club program, similar to a timeshare. We got suckered into attending the presentation which we were told was one hour to check out the property right across the street. It actually was a two hour presentation and included a tour of their property about 10 min away. Yes, we chose to attend, but shame on them for the bait and switch on what the presentation actually consisted of.

Nice Hotel-Amazing Beach-Exceptional food The service was exceptional. The food exceeded all expectations, it was delicious and well prepared. The beach and water are amazing. The staff is friendly, professional and pleasant. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Aruba is a country you should see and this hotel is a great choice. Aruba's citizens are happy and very proud of their beautiful country. They make you feel welcome. The only negative part of this trip and something you should avoid in Aruba is: Aruba's Ecological trails and Urirama Beach ride.

1st and last stay at Divi all inclusive Subpar customer service. The only good service we had was in the restaurants red parrot. Majority of the employees are miserable. Room has a damp smell, smaller room, toilet is in a closet in the bathroom. Bar employees do not know how to take orders on a first come basis. It’s a hot mess. Reservations at the restaurants are never on the time you had the reservation. Next stay will be a nicer hotel.
