Don’t stay here if you’re hotel boujie! This is an honest review. This all inclusive has quiet the following and i was kicked out of the facebook group for writing an honest review. If you are hotel boujie this is not the place for you! The room at the Tam was dirty and rough around the edges. Needs lots of improvement! I did get sick because of the moldy smell in the room. However, the location was everything! Waking up to a pristine beach with clear water was everything! If you dont care about the room but want the perfect beach location this is it! We stayed in the 1900 building and the location was great! The food was terrible! Not a lot of options for someone dairy free. Drinks were terrible. I ended up buying bottled water from the store because the water tasted bad. It was not very clean, the Divi was cleaner for sure! So all around id give it a 6.5 out of 10. I dont think we will be back, unless they update the rooms!

Just ok It was ok. The ocean view from our room was amazing. The beach and ocean were beautiful. The kids club staff were great, my little guy loved it there. Our first time in the buffet was so overwhelming and chaotic. Some times there are no clean tables available. The Divi buffet is larger but many people have to eat breakfast in Paprazzi because there is no room in the Tamarjin’s. It is very difficult to get reservations for the other restaurants. There is never anything available in the app and then you have to go to the concierge to book for you. We never got to try Ginger because we could not get a reservation at all. They advertise E-bikes included with the all-inclusive from 8-3. We tried at 9am one morning and they were already sold out. We had to get there early at 7:30 and wait in line for them to open and were able to get them. Another time we tried to get snorkels mid-day and were told those were sold out. The rentals are for both hotels so you think that they would have enough to go around. Also some staff did not seem happy to be there and almost like they were bothered to serve you. The pools at the Divi & Tamarjin are just ok. Divi Golf across the street has the best pool with waterslide and swim up bar. You can use the facilities there but the all-inclusive does not cover the drinks and food there, which was disappointing.

Everything you could ever dream of! Wow, just wow! This was our third time to Aruba, and our second stay at the Tamarijn. We could not have asked for a better vacation! This time we brought our entire family, ranging in age from 1 year old to 70 years old. Everyone had a blast! Every single staff member was super friendly and went out of their way to make our stay incredible. The rooms were clean and modern, we were just steps from the beach! The food at the restaurants was delicious and the amenities were exactly what we hope for. Pools were refreshing, entertainment was fun for all and the beach was breathtaking. A big shout out to Zef and Donny for the amazing E bike snorkel tour! They made us all feel comfortable (even some of us novice swimmers!) and made sure we got to see plenty of fish and swim with sea turtles! We loved seeing them throughout the rest of our stay and we really felt like family while staying at the resort. We would recommend the Divi/Tamarijn to everyone!

The perfect family vacation The rooms were spacious and clean. The beach was literally right outside our door and was spectacular. All the staff everywhere were warm and helpful. We were there with adult children and there was something for everyone. Even the gym was great!

Would not stay again Let’s start with the cons since they outweigh the pros. The Buffett at the Tamarijn is a lot smaller than at Divi. We ate dinner at the Tamarijn buffet once. It was terrible and had many flies inside, minimal options for a buffet. Breakfast at Divi was fair, they had a good amount of options. It would’ve been nice if they had hash browns. Smoothies were really good. They didn’t have mangos daily. The wait staff were not very attentive during breakfast. The restaurants were pretty good, however the food did come out cold at times. The servers had no issue with bringing out new hot food. The concierge needs to do better with scheduling the reservations for the restaurants. There was a few people who had reservations scheduled, to then arrive at the restaurant and be told that there was no reservation. Some of the food was clearly preheated and not freshly cooked. There are NO swim up bars, so if that is what you like this is not the resort for you. It would’ve been nice if there was more daytime interactive entertainment. The night entertainment could’ve also been better. The resort was pretty boring to me based on the type of resorts I’m used to. There are shuttles that will take you between the Divi and Tamarijn, sometimes they come quick, sometimes you are waiting for 20 minutes. The receptionist staff at the Tamarijn could also be a bit more friendly and welcoming. I had a beachside room at the Tamarijn which was outdated and within a 7 day stay had 2 plumbing issues that I had to call the front desk to fix, which they did promptly. Also, if you are on the first floor check your locks daily. I had a random man try to come in my room through the sliding glass door at midnight. I locked that door upon arrival, so I’m not sure how it magically got unlocked. The upside is there are alarms on the sliding doors, so the alarm went off when the stranger tried to come in. The beach is beautiful, just beware of the large rocks in the sand. The red parrot was my favorite restaurant. There are cool LED lights in the rooms. In all, I wouldn’t stay here again as I don’t feel as though I got my moneys worth.
