Sandy the Breakfast Ambassador Sandy the "Breakfast Ambassador" was extremely rude. She talked to another employee in the main lobby dining area about guests and employees making guests uncomfortable. She complained that staff on 2nd/3rd shift weren't stocking items, moving tables, etc. very loudly. She also complained to all the guests that my autistic son (4 years old) spilled his cereal onto the carpet and that it was a result of bad parenting. Needless to say, I was very upset at the comments. I had even offered to clean up the mess. There had been a birthday party the night before which she complained about loudly, even though those guests, I walked through the lobby during their event, were extremely polite and not loud at all. She ruined what otherwise was a good experience and will prevent me from recommending or returning to this motel. I reported to the desk staff at checkout and they were very nice. I feel bad for them because this employee is ruining repeat business and I hate to see the bad reviews due to a rude person. I understand service industry jobs are demanding and guests/other employees can be hard to deal with, but there are break rooms. Talking about people in front of guests is extremely unprofessional and unnecessary.

Worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at Let’s start with the one positive thing. We got parking right outside the entrance. Probably due to the fact that nobody else wanted to stay here. From the moment we walked in we regretted we didn’t turn around and found a new hotel. First there was the stench or odor that filled the lobby. The carpets and the staircase that someone else had highlighted as beautiful was absolutely disgusting. Stenches, holes and smelly. Awful! Then check in was in slow motion with a staff member signaling that she didn’t want to be there. For the most time she sat on a bench outside of the hotel. We had several issues that took forever to have resolved, simply because of this person who must hate her job. I don’t blame her. Then there was the room. We felt a little sense of joy when the door said “jacuzzi suite”. Well, let’s say that the last thing we wanted to do was to get into was that jacuzzi. The room had a stench of old smoke and urine, the walls were dirty, and the carpet likewise. It’s the first time we’re buying an air freshener to try to improve things. Not to say the nail we found in the bedsheets. Stay away from this hotel. It’s the worst you will find.

Very nice Face Lift; Entrance is large with sweeping stairs, beautiful. The main entrance is lovely; you can see the pool which looked very inviting and clean inside. The breakfast area is large and serves from 6-9 am. The room is clean; with microwave and refrig. TV is older; and could be larger but works fine. A desk and a relaxing chair with the king bed. The shower is redone; but the wall in the bathroom is chipped and needs repainting. The faucet in the sink is stained with mineral stains; and needs to be replaced. , the rest of the room is wallpapered and looks great; then one corner has screw holes where something was removed. The air conditioner works well. It looks like they started a redo; and didn't finish. . . actually for the money in the area we were very pleased. The service at the front desk was friendly and quick. This is right next to a Meijer grocery store and close to some food places. We would stay here again.

Horrible bathrooms They feel they can compete with the other chain motels/hotels. Sadly mistaken. room fine for ether money except for the bathroom. grossly insufficient. I stay this night and will never stay again until they get real and change out the bathrooms and make them correct with the other chain businesses. for the same price I could go anywhere else and have a great shower. not one room I was told had a full shower. Clerk was nice.room was clean.
