Excellent hotel The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Kuerig coffee machine with regular and decaf available, as well as tea. Breakfast was excellent with many choices. We were able to have an omelet made fresh with any type of filling to suit the palate. We also had an excellent dinner in The Grape and Olive restaurant. There is a beautiful pool, but we didn’t have our suits, so we’re not able to take advantage of it. The staff was helpful and accommodating. We would stay there again on our next trip to Orillia.

Great choice. Excellent value, beds were very comfortable and clean. The onsite restaurant Grape & Olive was really great. Supper was wonderful and a full breakfast, with omelettes, eggs, waffles prepared fresh with a chef. Loved the fresh fruit and coffee. Very clean.

Old, Tired, Broken, Smelly, poor location AND Overpriced Paid $320/night for a room that should have been $135. - Broken furniture - musty old funky smell - rooms are desperate for updating - bed sagged - very noisy AC - loud rattling pipes in the walls when neighbors showered - unwashed dishes in cupboards - mold, earwigs, and spiders in the bathroom - bathroom counter 8" lower than modern standard - carpet made us want to keep our shoes on - front desk staff, while friendly, had no interest in hearing our complaints - no room cleaning service during our stay (COVID is long since done, people). - Feel ripped off and won't ever stay at this hotel again (and maybe no other Best Western Plus now)

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great restaurant Our group of seven had a great two night stay at the Mariposa Inn in three rooms. Front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and responsive. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable and had a choice of four pillows. Bathrooms were clean and had well stocked amenities. Pool and hot tub were spotless. Lots of towels at the pool. Lovely patio area outside the pool. Nice grounds with another patio with tables and chairs and gazebo at the back of the property. The hotel was not very full during our stay so we usually had the pool area to our ourselves. We also enjoyed the food at the on-site restaurant. The seasonal spring menu offered a creative three course meal for $45. Portions were large and very tasty. Much better food than you usually expect at a hotel restaurant. Buffet breakfast ($) was standard fare but did have staff making fresh eggs/omelets. Restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. All seven of us agreed that we would not hesitate to recommend this property. Kudos to the hard working staff!!
