6th Visit over 13 Years - Treated like Royalty for 7 Nights for my 40th Birthday at Doubletree Hilton at SeaWorld I have stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Orlando at Seaworld in September 2012, December 2013, January 2015 (for my 30th birthday!), June 2015, March 2017 and returned most recently in December 2024 for my 40th birthday. I have to begin to say that I have not experienced ANY of the negative comments regarding this property. If anything, my recent 6th visit here has been the best so far. After a long and tiring flight from London, my Wife, five year old Son and I checked-in, which was quick and seamless (under 5 minutes). We were handed the keycards to our 17th floor Tower Room in under 5 minutes. Of course, I had three warm signature cookies in hand, which was most welcome after a long flight! The staff at reception were incredibly friendly and checked me in with a smile. On entering our Tower, we were presented with a clean and well maintained room, with complimentary bottles of water, a microwave, a fridge and great view of I-drive. The room had a comfortable King bed, with enough space for the three of us to sleep comfortably! With my family tired and wanting to sleep, I headed down to the on-site Pizzeria for a freshly made take-out pizza to take back to my room. The pizza tasted fantastic and reasonably priced. Throughout our 7 night stay, we had breakfast at Laguna several times, which was great. The breakfast selection was fantastic, with fresh Omellettes made to order. We also had a lazy few hours by the pool (in between Disney!) and ordered some snacks by the Barefoot Bar which was ok as far as snacks go! By far the best hang-out for me was the Sonoma Lobby Bar. A huge shout out to Leo behind the bar, who served me some great Rums and Miguel who made me the best Smokey Old Fashioned! I felt so incredibly relaxed chilling at Sonoma most evenings. Also a shout out to Glenda at Laguna for keeping the drinks flowing once Sonoma was closing for the night. On my birthday, my Wife had secretly arranged for a cake and bottle of Prosecco to be delivered to our room. This was completely unexpected for me and I am very grateful for this display of kindness. It really was a nice touch to turning 40! Overall, the lobby and grounds of the hotel are clean and well kepy. My Son enjoyed the Pool table in the lobby and the Football table by the main Pool. Thanks to Majo at the Reception Desk for looking after us throughout the stay and a smooth check-out process. Again, she was always accommodating to our requests and always greeted us with a smile. In fact, the entire Reception Desk staff had a great vibe about them, which is very welcoming and contagious! After six visits to this hotel, Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Orlando at Seaworld has become my "go-to" place to stay in Orlando is like a 2nd home to me. The staff across the property cannot do enough for you, and made my 40th birthday such an amazing and memorable experience. Thank you! P.S. I am back at the end of February 2025, so looking forward to seeing the staff again! Until then, keep doing what you are doing!

Don’t just don’t! I had an absolutely terrible experience at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld. The rooms were disgusting, and it was clear that cleanliness is not a priority for this hotel. The floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks—sticky, stained, and just outright filthy. It was appalling to walk into a room and feel like basic hygiene standards weren’t being met. I expected much better from a Hilton property, but this was far from it. I wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone.

Disappointed hotel with poor services. 1. Upon arrival after a long flight with two young children, we were informed that our room was not ready. We waited for over two hours, and the room was still unavailable. The front desk kept telling us the hotel was very busy with full house and that’s why room service couldn’t keep up with the room cleaning. This was unacceptable as our check in time was 3pm and we waited until 5:30pm. The first two associates offered no help but upon checking my third time, we finally got our rooms and they offered us complimentary breakfast for next day. 2. Poor Room Service: Throughout our stay, room service was substandard. We experienced long delays in receiving basic supplies, and housekeepers appeared to rush through cleaning our room in the mornings. This left us feeling neglected and uncomfortable. Rooms are dirty, supplies always missing and we had to call to request stuff like coffee, water, cups and etc. 3. Bathroom Issues: The shower in our room was leaking, which caused the bathroom floor to get wet every time we used it. This required us to clean up repeatedly, creating a safety hazard, especially for our young children. The lack of prompt maintenance to address this issue was concerning and unacceptable. Black mold is everywhere is bathroom area, very disappointed especially this hotel is under Hilton’s family. 4. Incorrect Parking Charges: At the end of our stay, we were charged USD$89 for parking despite not having a car. This error caused unnecessary frustration and inconvenience during our checkout process. Our family was looking forward to a relaxing vacation, but the experience at your hotel was far from satisfactory. The combination of poor service, unresolved maintenance issues, and incorrect charges has left us deeply disappointed.

Maintenance Problems in Resort area We stayed in the resort branch of the hotel. When we got to our room at close to midnight, it was smaller than the room images we saw online. The water would not drain from the sink and the shower door gasket was installed wrong resulting in water leaking across the floor. They sent maintenance and we were comped a free breakfast and moved to another room. The next day the HVAC in the new room lost power. Maintenance came and fixed it by resetting a breaker somewhere. The miniature golf course and outdoor pool table were in bad shape. I learned from staff the "resort" wing is 30 years old. It seems like this part was a regular motel remodeled to seem resorty. My advice, if you have to come to this complex, is to stay at the tower part of the facility. It is newer and sharper.

DISGUSTING This hotel is DISGUSTING. It was very clear upon arrival that our room had not been properly cleaned. When we peeled back the sheets, it was clear that the bed had been made without the sheets being cleaned. What looked like blood or something red was all over the sheets. We moved hotels immediately, but were still charged for the night (even though we did not even stay the night)! The customer service from the front desk was terrible and unprofessional. To say that we were disappointed in our experience would be an understatement.
